MA can’t force boohoo to sell to him. We have to also remember both are not on exactly good terms. MK has 1 up on MA in the sense if MA wants only Debenhams then he will have to pay top dollar. I don’t think mates rates will work. MK can easily sell to another buyer. All of this is just noise eotd…. If MA has the cash… then table the offer. It’s all games atm.

I’m pretty much making up my losses on Dogecoin soon after a 3 yr sitting on a paper loss. It would have been nice if this same thing happened here. If you guys end up hitting your 40/50/60p circa averages… then surely then there is no cap to the rise. Right? We could end up hitting a decent level. You may want to hang in there and get what you deserve after a very long 4 yr wait. I know I will. Ideally I need £1 to make the pain worth it at minimum. Having said that if I get my average based on a takeover offer… I won’t be grumbling.

I reckon MA is using his financial power here and at ASOS to give him a “Say”. He’s burning loads of money…. Surely he is doing it for a gain.

I actually don’t think it is “Appropriate” that boohoo ignores shareholders and ignores emails for updates. MA should just sit on their back to get comms out of them. They need to be put on a leash and we deserve answers regularly.

Out of the two…. I prefer the less aggressive school ground tactic here by boohoo. A constructive and open response which confirms the Kamanis intent is not to sell within the family or to Frasers. They will only give Frasers board rep if they stop

Buying more shares…. This is an interesting ask. To be honest… this is the first time in a long time that boohoo have provided a decent comms. They need to start adding more detail around what options they are exploring over the next few months and will they do something or just explore? To me the response seems genuine and clear that they don’t to sell to MA. MA has two options… go full out and offer a unique price for a complete buyout that MK can’t refuse. Or re-agree some terms and take a NED seat. Boohoo should be providing atleast quarterly updates on how they will unlock value. The last thing we want as shareholders is that they go quiet again for another 4 years.

My averages are £4.44 & £4.54. Not a million miles away but do feel it will take a while just to get back to that level.

To be honest I do think the board shafted us here.

I agree Alex. There is clearly indication that MA is not trusting the Kamanis. The positive side here is of course, MA nor any larger fund is selling their stake here. Maybe there will be an amicable end to all of this with shareholders given a decent return. To me… you can’t sell a rat and still be happy to keep buying more shares. That doesn’t sound right also.

This site or any site like this is not the way forward. MA has no choice but to takeover. Kamani will not respond in the way MA wants. Rather than it get messy for no reason…. Either Kamani can show a turnaround is do-able or MA / another PE to payout all the existing shareholders

The only way MA can stop any stone walling is by just putting in an offer for the whole company at £1. Then he can break it up himself.

Boohoo / Frasers…. What on earth is going on.

Barker would have known about the write off. Yet they remain their holding intact. It’s a shame this write off occurred and not announced prior to today but it is what it is.

My hunch here is a takeover is more probable and a better outcome for us shareholders.

This sp has been beaten too much. Only way is up …. Whatever drives that. Merger / takeover etc. no different from boohoo situation

I don’t think any impact will cross over until we get our results plus Christmas trading performance. Until then …. It will be a parked share price.

Fair to say the “Private” rumours may not be rumours. MA must know what’s going on. I do hope a takeover happens quickly and this rumour does not drag out. Where is this ME fund rumour coming from?
