there is not likely to be a bid for the whole company, darby has made sure of it by personally bringing in nissin as disrupter to any future takeover, fsa should have investigated this move by darby and nissin.

best we can hope for is an independent bid for batchelors, then this would cause problems for nissin, nissin will then have to bid higher or try and destroy the bid by taking support away i.e. putting price up for manufacturing.

a counter bid is more likely as destroying the bid will be conflicting for them as they have to justify the additional loss on their 20% holding to nissin shareholders ( on top of the 30% loss currently).
