I think people are kidding themselves if they think covid sales will grow. It doesn’t matter how you try and make the covid figures look like they are slowly reducing, but that is not the case.
Covid Related Sales (incl. DHSC disputed amounts):-
2020 = £263.34m (Baseline)
2021 = £117.56m (55.36% drop in covid sales from 2020)
2022 = £30.0m* (~88% drop in covid sales from 2020)
These are the true covid related revenue sales. Doesn’t matter how you dress up the figures with tax reclaim, DHSC etc. these are the true covid sales.
(*Q1 of £10.1m, let’s say £30m in 2022 being optimistic)
