WBA - if you have enough shares you can control the share price to some extent if news meant that they suddenly felt the need to buy more if a big opportunity presented itself.

Ask yourself……if you were a shareholder in Biosynex, would you be happy with the company spending their cash reserves on further shares in any stock with a global falling financial market and with countries facing high inflation and the very real prospect of massive worldwide recessions. Considering that, would you feel that Biosynex risk appetite is about right at present or are they likely to miss out an opportunity. And could any potential massive Novacyt news and spike to its share price be controlled by Biosynex current holding?

Valju…..I would say they were buys as the exchange didn’t move much in France with a few sells there at the same time.

Unless there are some big buys or a very unusual higher volume in London to that in France, I would go go off Boursa for movements. It’s mainly ATs moving it anyway. French volume has been 6 to 8 times higher than London in the last week or so, so it’s pointless looking at London prices.

No Valju, I think it was a sell. If you look at the trades on Boursa they were all buys at 08:00 to 08:02 just before the Uk sell (IMO) at 08:02. Then sells on Boursa afterwards.

Hopefully a move up later but one would assume that the sp is following the global sell off this morning.

Completely agree, think a lot of people now see Prof Eric Ding as exaggerating everything. It’s all about building his own profile and business links.

But Valju, you have said the price doesn’t matter for the last 18 months as this is a long term hold for you. You said you aren’t interested in selling! Why do you care if you are underwater at present? Give it 10 years and you’ll be fine.

Uk price seems to suddenly have caught up at long last.

AIM is horrible place to invest. All the CEOs are out for themselves. That time their ramps massively to fulfil their own rewards but are so blatant about it. There are literally 100s of examples out there of BoDs doing the same. No one trusts any of them. I made a massive mistake with this share and went against all my previous strategy. Only buy on historic lows and don’t get greedy on the way up. I think we all need to learn from that on here.

It’s the same on every share, we get caught up in the music, dancing and singing along. Everyone saying stay for the next song that one will be great. And we do. And then suddenly the music stops and before you know it everyone has left, leaving those left behind locked in a dark quiet room. James Wakefield in charge of the keys and many other rooms try’s to find the the next DJ to play some songs but can’t as he continues to fumble amongst the 100 other keys in his pocket……because Novacyt is just a few songs from his music collection. We need another key master and the current DJ needs to find the power button to the speakers.

Kaeren…I said for the last 18 months that GM should have been made responsible and why he got paid out the entire LTIP is very odd with a dispute hanging p et the company. It is very obvious that the timing of the RNSs was to build up the sp for his LTIP strike price. Yes covid timing was lucky but the timing of RNSs leading up to that ensured he did very very well. Then he left everyone in the ditch from Nov 2020. There’s more to that story I’m sure of it. Now his dodgy dealings are continuing over at Love Hemp.

Anyway….any link with the ABDX contract win this morning and Novacyt or is that too much to wish for?

Kaeren….I voted against all resolutions to make a point to the board to listen to investors and for them to be made accountable by them. Unfortunately others decided to let them off the hook.

Novacyt made a lot of institutes and some private investors money in 2020 but they were not truthful or quick with revealing issues within the company. That led to massive losses for most private investors and they need to be made accountable for that, not move on to the next LTIP reward. This shouldn’t be a reset to make money, it should be a continuation. Poor decisions were made and too much reliance on one customer. Legal and contract issues due to non coverage of terms and conditions with our own government.

A lot of money has been withdrawn out of global stocks in the last 12 months but very bad timing of the dispute meant we were impacted before the global decline.

We need a ceo who drives sentiment and whom isn’t afraid to be positive to the market. A natural born leader with proven experience. One that is trustworthy with its owners and is accountable to them and knows it. Do we have that in DA, with some respect no but time will tell. Personally, I thought the investors meet was ok but the £100m 5 year headline wasn’t the one and seemed too cautious for my liking. This guy needs to impress much quickly IMO.

Everything you come up with people have to explain to correct. You try and be positive by posting inaccurate details. People have gone past wanting to hear fairy tails and want to hear facts.

Why is it ok for you to be negative about the current CEO, Dave Allmond, yet call anyone else a troll if they post something you don’t like? I know you are desperate to get out of this share, we all are, but we need to put pressure on the board, not give praise out to them where it is not due.

Sentiment will return naturally from good news and not from fake vibes on a small bulletin board in the uk that currently only has 20% average of trades.

It’s all very well being angry and name calling but at least do some research as you just come across as a couple of idiots. Novacyt were not quorate in 2019 or in 2021. Of course 2020 was ok because the share price was at giddy heights. It’s very likely that the company are not quorate this year. People should have voted against last year but the idiot rampers voted ‘for’ in the second voting round. Now look where we are.
