Should the Alveras well integrity prove to be acceptable, drill costs shouldn’t be a concern. Flow testing multiple zones however is expensive, evident by the Dempsey well. Water in Dempsey was first mentioned post perforating zone 4.

Gills concept of time has not been the best but september could be the month to start hotting up! I sure in one of the interviews Fiona said they were planning to select a number of wells to workover in fraccion D. Adding a esp should increase oil production significantly to these wells, favourable economics should allow these wells to break even at 18bpd! So, potentially 60bpd per well will generate a respectable return....

If you look at the depth for crownpoints 2 recent appraisal wells they are slap bang in the middle of the ems x 1001 target zone.

What’s interesting about this is this well flow tested much lower rates (1500 ish off the top of my head but it’s in the announcements if any one chooses to scroll through) although still exceptional for a tobifera formation. Obviously they were being conservative with the choke, but now as confidence builds as the formation continues to excel they must be slowly opening the choke and the wells performance is getting better and better! 2500bpd for a cheap onshore well is fantastic! Clearly all oil and gas companies in the Austral basin are still learning about the Tobifera formation but the San Martin structure is setting the pace and a pure example of the potential this exciting formation can deliver. Crownpointenergy has released an update on its San Martin Tobifera play. SM X 1001 appears to be performing even better than previously.
