I think the website has said 2018 (without stating which H) ever since the H22017 was knocked into a hat. When it was pointed out that it should say H1 2018 the response was just, "oh yeah, that's a mistake". Oman was originally supposed to be bringing home the bacon to fund Moz, and iceberg (or was it Trisse?) worked up loads of calc's showing earnings/SP projections. The only thing that's changed is that Oman's not producing and we've got shedloads to spend on developing Portugal. This is going to be Dilution Central for a while, and I know that a few holders can't afford that. Best option here is to spend a bit of time trading on the mini spikes and the sentiment swings. Maybe we're going to discover that DA has been worked over by the Onanis good and proper before long.

Anybody ever considered that Morgan Stanley would, cough, have an incentive to talk down a market by issuing grand statements serving their own interests? Would I try to talk down a market that I was interested in if I was one of the globes biggest investors? Of coooooooooooooourse not! I'd be really worried if they were talking up copper mining in Oman though...

I agree ABS. In H1 2017 we were told there'd be jam tomorrow. Now it sounds like we're going to be told to forget that because there'll be milk and honey in a year or two.

Personally, Aimtodeath, I've never agreed to throwing the kitchen sink at anything. Especially here & now; an aim company getting fannied around in Oman whilst being 30% owned by Omanis.

I was working to the assumption that Oman operations would fund work in Portugal, and some. Instead, we're looking at a dose or two of dilution.

Desperate drilling frenzy in Portugal in an effort to find some good news to include in the RNS announcing setbacks in Oman, which must now be inevitable.

It's clear that SAV aren't to blame for the delay in the Omani hold-up. The foot-dragging of the Oman authorities exposes the crookedness of their 'let's pretend' forward thinking. Oman is as bent as a nine bob note, if you ask me. Invest your hard-earned in an honest venture, like Vodafone, Starbucks or Boots. 😂😂😂

And we do need to drill like miners possessed to try get some good news to include in the Oman mining-delay RNS, if that turns out to be the case. Anything to prevent a big SP drop if Oman is delayed, when we'd need to turn an eye to a round of fundraising. Lay your bets, ladies & gennelmen...

Everybody is as tight as drum about the Oman update. If the mining go-ahead landed tomorrow it would barely move the SP needle. If, however, the mining delay RNS lands tomorrow, I'd put my house on a 20% fall. On that basis there's not much point getting impatient over the Oman update. If you're in here, you're either in for the (very) long haul or you're trading in the margins (or a bit of both).

I'm wondering if the options were time limited and had to be exercised now-ish, or was there time left to run. If the options were held by a current PDMR (logical) and had a long time time to run, would it be reasonable to speculate why they'd exercise them shortly before 'good news' is expected? Alternatively, it might be that they just had to be exercised due to time constraints and there's no story.

Did you have time to look back through the RNS's and find the history of the options? Was their time up or did they have plenty of time left to run?

Still getting emails from these clowns and received 2 the other day: first one detailing a fundraising RNS and the next asking me to pretend I hadn't seen it. Then the proper RNS lands today. What a shower of muppets. Is Asher still scrounging off the, ahem, 'investors' here? Still, although I probably chipped in a few hundred quid towards a Director's holiday here, I learned a few lessons about AIM oilers that's saved me cash in the long term.

But city traders, pension fund managers etc don't buy shares based on what the Daily Mail reports.

And the SP is down. BDEV is a classic example of buy on rumour sell on news. Hope nobody is buying today hoping to make a quick buck.
