Seeing as it’s only about 18 weeks to year end it’s unfair to shareholders that absolutely nothing is forthcoming about the stated intention to be producing copper (already a year late). At very least we deserve a statement advising that this won’t be achieved and the reason why, along with a new target date.

“Particularly” as our largest shareholders are Omani, or “Because” our largest shareholders are Omani...? Time will eventually reveal all, and - boy, oh, boy - I bet this board lights up!!

Oman priced in at zero both on a technical analysis and on a ‘that’s going to cause a stink on the bulletin boards’ analysis. Oman alone was touted as being worth 15/20p on the SP (that’s why I invested originally) but Omani motives/manoeuvres will inevitably be revealed eventually. Even if we do get to mine copper over there it’ll be 18 months / 2 years late, and in that time we’ll have borrowed / diluted to death, instead of using copper income to be a bit more self-funded. No one will do business there in a rush. I’ll never knowingly invest in a company with Omani project dependencies again.

DA didn’t mention Oman because there’s going to be a brouhaha there soon. Their delays have had huge financial knock-on consequences for us. Their dismal treatment of SAV is serving as an increasing concern to other miners that might have thought about doing business there.

I remember when income from Oman was going to be rolling in by now and funding work in Portugal and Moz. We’re now borrowing to fund Portugal and planning to spend more money we haven’t yet got on yet more jam tomorrow. The Omani’s have given SAV a right run around and with their continuous red tape, the net result is taking cash out of shareholder’s pockets. I think we should all be worried about what further damage Oman is going to cause SAV with their shenanigans. I’ve now got Oman priced in as a loss to come, which is really annoying because that was promising to be a good earner long before Portugal was a twinkle in DA’s eye. I’ll never invest in anything with Omani connections again, as I suspect is the case for countless others.

Not much reference to Oman, even though we’re supposed to be digging copper out of the ground within 6 months (a year late). Confirmation that we’re sitting on dud?

...said the ISFU to the ISFU Advisory Board shortly before the You Slap My Back, I’ll Slap Yours conference. You couldn’t make this stuff up. No surprise that most SAVvers, and the rest of the market, are pricing Oman at £zero.

Looking forward to some big sentiment swings and trading opp’s in the next few weeks :) Will be very interesting to see if any options are exercised at these levels, or if we see any PDMR purchases. This is now where AIM gets exciting - but beware booby traps :) GLA!!

I like to keep an aim stock in my portfolio for some entertainment and thought several years ago that SAV had an interesting story - my first miner, actually. It looked like it had more than the usual gamble element. I have to say that it’s been a disappointment -everyone knows my view on that - and I’ve entertained myself trading in the margins instead recently. I think Oman is big fat con in the making. However, I still think there’s a good story here for those who’ve kept their patience, and continue to do so, and I’m still holding enough to suite my appetite. There’ll be a lot of sentiment swings in the next 18 months to play with. Those without patience aren’t gambling too much, but the 20-times-a-day posters on here who take ‘cheeky top ups’ and go all in are going to be burned. Good luck to the patient.

Has anyone done any research around the family relationships (cousins, brothers etc) between PAM, Al Marjan, the Lab members, the ministry of housing, the mining development organisation, the minister for mines and so on, and so forth? I wouldn’t for one moment expect to find anything untoward but these things should be transparent, and I’m sure the info is out there in the public domain for anyone with the time and inclination to find out.

Careful Thelix. As usual on an AIM board, if you don’t follow the “this is our year / no fault with the bod / game changing RNS landing any minute / wouldn’t want to be out of this over the weekend / cheeky top-up, it’d be rude not to” line, then you’ll be branded an idiotic loser who needs to learn to read (or if you diss Oman prospects you’ll be branded a racist!).

Reduced my holding 50% at 6.45p. Not expecting any price moving news for a good few weeks, so how far will this drift back down before then? 6p? 5.8p? 5.5p?

Yep - I’ve been selling. No more news due for long enough to see this slip well below 6p again (unless you’re a dreamer who thinks that Oman will land soon). Won’t claim to be getting rich on recent moves, but better than sitting on my thumbs waiting for tomorrow’s increasing promises of jam to materialise. Good luck to those who’d rather continue to be patient.

Topics included �broader powers for inspectors and judicial seizure...� who knows what that means? I Do know, though, that some PI�s are valuing Oman at 0.0p in their SAV holdings :)

Another shocking RNS. Packed full of bad news lamely dressed up as a good news story. This one illustrates a bit of incompetence, an attempt at making up for previous statements that must have been known to be misleading and yet more back sliding. Are they really serious that it didn’t seem that important to mention in the January RNS about a license application that the decision maker was going to be on holiday for months? You’re having an absolute, Archer. ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING!!!!!!

May be a test of patience over the coming weeks... We’ve been saying that for years. I nearly pmsl :) I think we need to accept that nothing is going to come of the Oman gig (maybe some well connected Omani investors will kindly take it off our hands for 0.1p per share), so it’s just a matter of guessing how much cash we’ll burn in Portugal before we decide whether to start mining there. That’ll be the wrong end of 2019. Only reason to check in here until then is to see the con unfold, the cash burn and the SP fall.
