Kiwi: that’s my point. There’s no evidence of anything in Oman except for a catalogue of failed promises and a shabby disregard towards investors from DA when questioned on it. I might be at risk of talking my own investment down but I’d rather make DA aware of discontent via a bulletin board (yes, they do know what gets posted on here however much they might deny it), than through a Daily Mail headline that REALLY damages us. Remember the last embarrassing Daily Mail fiasco here...? It’s time DA stopped pretending that everything is rosy in the garden and paid his investors a bit of respect.

Ah, there you go - in the face of fair comment and challenge they can’t reasonably counter, the blind followers start with the p****-taking and abuse. ‘First they ignore you, then they laugh at you...’

Still not here. And it could be another year before we get license to mine according to DA, despite it already being 3 years later than he predicted.

Nothing about being in dialogue with the relevant department, liaising with the license authority for progress reports to share with investors, no word on current expectations. Just a simple “Well, I know it’s two years late and we might have to wait another year. But what can you do, eh lads?” Utterly, utterly pathetic. We’re now in reverse gear. I used to think Veteran10 was bonkers, but I’m beginning to think he’s an actual prophet. Absolutely furious with DA’s shabby attitude there.

I bought in on the promise of ‘transformational’ years, digging up copper and seeing some SP growth, maybe even some dividends, on the back of Oman. What a crock that looks like now. It’s the pretence that everything is exciting because we’ve seen the future - it’s just round the NEXT corner - that annoys me. DA is losing credibility by the day with the Oman silence.

And the SP was hovering around 5p when Oman was the only asset with reasonably near earnings potential. Remember DA repeatedly reporting that ‘this year will be transformational for investors ‘ long before lithium was a thing? Absolute joke.

I would not invest in Oman again...

Does that mean we should know if we’ve got approval to start mining within 60 days of 14th March? We suddenly started a drilling programme again before Christmas, months after submitting an application, without ‘really’ being told why.

Couldn’t open the link Muldoon. When was that article published? Those changes were announced months ago weren’t they? It’s not like they only announced them the other day, meaning the 60 day clock has only just started ticking. Or does the article say when the changes come into effect? Makes the year long silence even worse, however you look it anyway.

What was all that fuss about gold in Oman? Is that why Oman/SAV are refusing to say anything?

And some people think it’s fair to challenge failure. There are plenty of us LTH’s who invested in the promise of Oman in the near term and Moz in the long term. It was a very promising AIM fun punt long before the lithium jam was on the table. LTH’s are entitled to long term memories and to ask for reasonable updates!

A lock in period that ends before mining is due start doesn’t show much faith in the company. And this is a company that’s more than two years late on operations in Oman, for reasons that seem to be shrouded in secrecy. Looking at the market reaction, I’m clearly not the only one that thinks so. Time you gave us an update, Mr Archer, instead of yet more promises about the future.

They’d do an RNS saying that we’re finally going to start mining in Oman and paying our own way instead having to borrow everything and keep diluting.

There’s nothing touchy here. But I’ve got hard cash in here and it’s fair for any investor to ask for an explanation as to why things that have been published in RNS’s designed to provide assurance are not bearing fruit. The longer it goes on the less credibility the company has. Asking for an update is entirely reasonable. If copper mining in Oman is more than two years overdue, how can any sensible investor have faith in estimates that lithium mining will be happening in Portugal by the end of next year? You can only your apply grey matter to information and evidence that is available to you, regardless of how big your wallet is. And the only evidence available to me is that SAV is utterly failing to deliver on a pretty significant promise.

The abusive response is usually elicited by painful truths... We can’t really avoid being honest about the fact we’re getting mugged off, though. I feel for those with real money in this share who are under water.
