Reading the article, which seems to be associated with s\private schooling, has little to do with ERP. Maybe its not a bad thing since once we receive Chinese approval, the prospect of making money could attract new investors who would otherwise be looking elsewhere ?

Given the current Chinese policies and I'm sure there will be more to come, I wouldn't be surprised if they are not wanting investors to give up the HGSX altogether and move to the mainland market. What's the point in having both if they are only going to gradually turn HK into a Chinese suburb ? Food for thought for ERP....where will they move to next and how much is it going to cost us investors ?

Yes, I admit it was....for the first 15mins, then it tanked .....lol. I think the market reaction today was due to the sell off in the states. even the FTSY is down over 2% at this moment in time. ERP just needs to show some decent sales figures otherwise it wont pick up.

Incidentally I have emailed Orient asking why Fortacin is not showing on any of their websites given a license agreement was entered into at the end of 2018 and the product has been launched in HK, Macau and soon (if not already) Taiwan. It'll be interesting to see if I receive a response, although I am expecting a response along the lines of "What the fcuk is Fortacin".....lol

It would seem some may have woken up and read yesterdays announcement and are taking a risk that maybe the mention of a divi could be a real possibility.

The only thing that may have caused them to mention this (and I'm really pushing the boat out on this one) is the remote possibility of some money coming in as a result of US license discussions???. I can see no other reason for the inclusion of the unusual content in the announcement. VXR is falling (dropped 16% on the ERP average sell sp) and the DLI is still a white elephant. The only other thing that could have some impact is possible income from Europe, which I would consider as highly remote.

That all said, the positive profit announcement didn't indicate a huge profit and certainly gave no indication of anything associated with Europe or the US and anything after that announcement surely will not be included until after the interims are out and the company is trading in H2. So, as previously mentioned. It could all be just some weird smoke n mirrors, although why suddenly now ?

So. First impressions on HK opening are that the clause about a possible interim divi are considered as nothing. If any trader or broker thought there were any possibility of an interim divi, shares would have been bought. Even with some risk attached, however. Since there are no opening buys. A pinch of salt comes to mind.

That isn’t to say there won’t be a few buys later from some traders willing to just take a risky punt…… There will probably be more sells than buys though as usual…lol.

I notice they didn’t make a similar statement in the interim board announcement in 2016 when there was also a positive profit announcement.

Anyway, interesting as it is, I wait to see what transpires…most probably nothing ;-)

Given they have already announced a positive profit alert, could it be some twisted way to try and increase a suppressed sp, although I’m uncertain as to the reason now since we did previously discuss that having sold VXR shares could that indicate they may have sufficient funds for the short term? Purely speculation on my part as the statement really doesn’t make any sense. :-)

Now this is interesting. I’m sure I have never read an announcement where they mention consider the payment of an interim dividend. Just more smoke n mirrors, but why mention it when every Tom, Dick n Harry know they are skint ??? Have they mentioned this before and I just missed it ?

Is it me or does it appear the VXR sp was possibly pushed up so ERP could offload some shares ??? Although beneficial to us, it certainly makes one wonder who has the control on sp …. Lol

Seems day traders buying pressure is pushing the price up, although meagrely, on the possible update due any day now on FDA submission/filing. AIMHO of course … :-)

What we need are a few runaway gaps. Unfortunately the past gaps, like this one, are just created by the m’n’ms for the day traders. The sp suddenly rises on a small but inconsequential news and then the sellers bring it back down again. It’s really no more than manipulation.

Although the date is shown as yesterday, I'm pretty sure it wasn't visible until after close today since I checked this morning and again at 16:30 local time and I don't recall anything.

Anyway, no matter. at least they have offloaded some which, as you state could be towards the outstanding ATO ?

Could also indicate they may not be looking for a cash call in the near future. longer term, however ?

I’m sure it won’t lead to any income given the company hasn’t seen any since operations started, which is more important to investors and the sp than anything else.
