And again I have to contradict you on your constant referral to the clowns having significant skin in the game. They do not. For Jim its a drop in the Ocean (he can actually afford about 20,000+ LR Defenders with his current wealth) and for Jamie his skin has been given to him. And he certainly doesn't care if it only chugs along with no result since each year he receives 1.5mill USD (including a % of options) for doing nothing apart from giving license agreements, like the recent Israeli one and the Chinese and Taiwanese deals , away for SFA. As I mentioned before, there are supposedly 187.5 million sufferers in China, so the deal agreed is absolutely diabolical!!! What do these sort of deals, apart from clearly showing their hand, tell any possible US licensee ?

And didn't you post not so long ago that the DVP (or Venturex ) SP breakeven point was about 1 Ozzy Dorrar (or 5 with the recent consolidation). If you did, that would mean that although there may have been a huge rise in the last 12 months, they are still running at a loss on their 8 year investment ?

And if they do manage to pull off a reasonable US license deal (which I now very much doubt given the disastrous Israeli deal). And of course that excludes Jamie's...what is it 17 to 20% further dilution as shares or pay him back his loan by a possible placing if the SP doesn't go above 0.25$ come next July, so by then even less than the PLE offer price !!!

Ahh yes, the TD5. They stopped using them due to (I read) mechanical problems, however. A very nice motor and very smooth due to all the pistons being out of sync and subsequently their firing sequence as apposed to 180 degree even cylinder engines (4, 6, 8 and 12). The very first Audi Quattro rally car (won many races) was a five cylinder. the 5 also sounds like a V10 (Lamborghini). Although they are considered by many as being too complicated due to the need of an extra balancer shaft from the longitudinal torque created by the out of sequence firing.

The Defender is still the benchmark for all other of roaders.

ERP is already over S$1 at 1, 2 and even 3 in places (1.8 Sing = 1GBP).

Thanks for that. Nice to read you are a LR man. Outside of Singapore, I’ve owned 2 discoveries and one of the first model freelancers. Had mechanical problems with all of them. That said, they were the best cars for the snow when I lived in Norway. Parents had a 110 v8 and my you get brother is just on his second Range Rover. So the whole family has a thing.

What do you think of the new defender( I take it yours is the old version) they certainly look the dogs ****** and from what I’ve read are so much better. See quite a few in Singapore LWB and SWB. Cost about 300k squid on the road….cough.

Thanks and yes, I hope you are right. They just need to get the FDA approval across the line which I am sure will kick start things. They should have always stared with the FDA and worked backwards since we would more likely already be there which is very important given we are mostly on our rundown in days.........

Definitely would like to see some progress. That’s why we all invested. Its just very illusive in no small amount because of the A team which we either have to live with or leave. I wait in ever constipation which is a lot harder than anticipation……lol

Not meant to be depressing. Just a reality check on life’s timelines and how long things take. Also a reminder that life is indeed short and as such people everywhere should be kinder to oneself (less work and more happiness) and kinder and more forgiving to each other…… this in itself should help one live that little longer because stress has the opposite effect.

Regarding the "slowly inching forward" posts. A but of musings

To put it in to a little perspective. If a person lives on average 80 years, that equates to only 29,220 days that each of us may be on the planet (its relatively nothing really). It could be more (a bonus, although how many years after will be worth living is another question), it could also be less (a disaster).

PLE started on their road (to success...lol) in mid year 2005 (say end of June). Up to today, that's about 6017 days. I'm now 63 which from today leaves me with 6128 days (or only about 200 months), which is nearly as long as it has taken the company to reach its current position.

So although they are "slowly inching forward", it could be a disaster when compared to how much time one has left. As such, the value of such statements is quite different for each person. For someone with only 6000 days left, its an eye opener since they have already used up what time is left to get where they are today. For those that are even older, its worse.

Moral of the story is:
Remember to live each day to its full since no one will ever get that time back. And someone in the company needs a good kick up the asre.

Incidentally Jim is 64, so he effectively has 5520 days left (if he cannot get those longevity pills sorted). In that time he's got to spend 200k a day or leave it all to relatives......lol

Personally I think the deal is not worth the paper its written on its even worse than the Orient agreement. No upfront payment, which is what we need to survive as there is no money coming in from anywhere and to pay JG his 1.5mill (possibly made up in options - disgraceful really) and cover the DLI operational costs which now includes even more employees. This new license agreement adds no value, well not for 2.5 years (given the previous historic delays will, I am sure, add another year to the 18month timeline). Also, this does not surely reflect well with regard to any US licenses. Certainly a reflection of the disastrous EU and Orent/HK Macau Launches/sales. No one would commit to any upfront money after reading about current sales levels.

Israel is about 9 mill people and the Balkans about 55million, so similar as one of the top tier E5.

The price rise today is artificial due to day traders jumping in on the announcement (they probably don't even know what the content is) hoping there will be enough of a rise to make their 5 to 10%.

The FDA process is yet further let down given when it was supposedly submitted. And do we believe in their statement that ...."It is anticipated that although timelines have been extended since the Company’s last Shareholders’ update, using a streamlined adaptive clinical trial design the previously projected timelines are attainable" I for one certainly don't. Track record would clearly indicate Otherwise.

Why do you feel the need to expend so much time writing about him. Anyone with a ounce of intelligence can quite easily find information about him on the www and in past RPG announcements ??? Writing about him just feeds his need for attention.

Obviously you are not aware, although it was discussed many years ago, that the poster is none other than the ex PLE CEO Ronald Openshaw (verified). He started posting soon after he was kicked out in Nov 2013 and ever since has suffered from NSGS (Narcissistic Sour Grapes Syndrome) and has tried, fruitlessly, to discombobulate ever since. Remember, this is the poster who wrote "Recordati would walk" and "They will not get OTC approval" amongst other things.

Unfortunately for him, he is given very little attention by the few remaining LTH's. And definitely given no attention by the vast number of HK and Chinese shareholders.

Certainly not a true professional since if he were, he would have taken it on the chin and moved on, although I guess suffering from NSGS doesn't help, does it ?

Although there was no date given by Dougie regarding the article, I would suspect it was before the Asian license announcements in late December 2018 and the commencement of the FDA phase II, so I would expect that valuation to be well out of date now.

If the BOD, JM or JG consider going after 167m, they certainly need their heads examined and should definitely give up investing, especially since fair value during the PLE take-over was around 150mill squid.

And of course since then PLE LTH's investment has been reduced by about 52% with a further 20% by June next year if JG takes his loan shares. Its also well to note that existing RPG LTH have seen their investment to date reduced by around 80%+ since the TO.

I guess with a username like Heimdal you would more than likely be Scandanavian.

Although Dansk, which sounds like Norwegian with a kartoffel in the mouth, was quite unexpected......lol
