I wouldn't write off Yoshie's post completely as he/she has a very good point. China has no regard far any international patents or international laws for that matter. All one has to do is read the recent articles in the world press. China consistently infringes copyright and patent laws. And why not. There are 1.3billion Chinese which is a macro world on its own. Why do you think they stop the likes of Google et al from making any head ways. It's not just about press restrictions, it's also to ensure China makes billions from their own people and once that is achieved they then try and expand into the rest of the work, which is far easier now with the Internet. So they may get several slaps along the way, but they are so arrogant, they just don't care. Remember Chinese culture is money and wealth before all else, even family. This goes back hundreds of years and is historically documented.
