As The.Italian wrote. This seems to have taken HK by surprise.

But I’d like to add. Not only HK, but here too. I was expecting a lot of activity here with this 2nd major license agreement. I Guess posters have stopped looking in due to how long it’s taken so far. I think many will be please and realise we are now on the brink. Especially if this leads to a few more agreements.

I would expect that if the volumes don’t reach the same levels, it will support the speculation of major stakes having been taken, however. If the volumes are substantial, it could support the idea of traders. We can only but wait and see.

Development Milestone Payments

• A payment of US$4,000,000 (or approximately HK$31,200,000) upon obtaining NMPA
approval to conduct a human clinical trial of a licensed product or written NMPA acceptance
as sufficient of provided data without need for conducting a further clinical trial, which, in
either case, is expected within 6 months of NMPA approval to submit the investigational new
drug (IND) application for human clinical trial of a licensed product at NMPA.

• A payment of up to US$6,000,000 (or approximately HK$46,800,000) as a registration
milestone upon receipt from NMPA of the approval of an import drug licence in respect of a
licensed product.

• A payment of US$2,000,000 (or approximately HK$15,600,000) upon the First Commercial
Sale in the Territory.

Although not that fastrack..............

It is expected to take between 35 months to 60 months (3 to 5 years) from the date of Wanbang Pharmaceutical
submitting the documentation for obtaining the import drug licence from NMPA.......

And what an appropriate name....Wangbang......thankyou mam....LOL

Since I was informed that the company was in a holding position whilst they waited for a response from the Chinese approval process to fastrack the product, I assume with the announcement of a license agreement, the response has been positive...... All steam ahead.

At least there wont be any need for a cash call next year...... :-)

This could be the reason that Recordati made a statement like sales are disappointing. I still don't understand why such a statement was made given the product was just launched and everyman and his dog were not expecting significant sales to begin with. How can they make a statement when they had no idea what to expect given there is nothing to compare it with in the first place? So disappointing compared to what? Could this just be the Italians are trying to apply psychological pressure to RPG in a hopes of buying the whole shebang for a lot less than they really know its worth ?

Fortunately it wont wash since the only person who I feel has a true understanding of its potential is Dr Mike who will be advising our management accordingly. (Both JM and JG will not understand since they have no experience in this field). Remember, many years ago Dr Mike himself stated that nothing less than 1 billion USD would be accepeted, which is not unreasonable given the possible market, with no competition. This surely puts possible sales above the blue pill since it had to compete with 2 other major drugs.... food for thought there.

I'm sure if the China syndrome..;-) works out, things could be very interesting indeed. (probably more likely it will than it wont). But even if there were an issue, there is still the USA etc etc. I'm pretty convinced now that the lack of progress on other licenses is all to do with this since it does seem to point to a "put on hold pending outcome" status. If there is any truth in the stake buliding during the UK launch, this makes it more so since whoever bought in only has to make an offer for the remaining shares. The more they have, the less they have to pay, but the remaining shareholders still will end up with a good deal.

So could there be 2 possibilities then? A Chinese Pharma or Recordati ? We will certainly know early next year.

The next 3 to 4 months could be very Interesting.

Strangely, investors optimism and how they feel can all be based on a rising or falling sp.....lol

It does seem like there is now a turnaround with volume increasing and sp rising. Seems to me that there is now optimistic investment on the possibility of China approving of the product based on HK/Macau/EU approvals. I wonder if Regent would have gone for HK and Macau if there was a good chance of failure. Probably not. Also, given that Dr Mike has been to Beijing and poss other area to promote the product, which I am sure must have some links with the approval process, will certainly help. I am sure he is well respected in China as the man behind the blue pill. The Chinese just love status amongs academics. We are lucky that this product evolves around him, otherwise I am sure we would be in a far worse position than where we are today.....onwards and upwards.. ;-)

There is no problem in posters writing negatives about a stock, it’s what the bb board is all about. I have written a few here myself due to frustration and falsely announced information on time lines with no real explanations as to why. What I do object to, like many others, is when a poster was outed from the said company and then does his utmost to disrupt and cause mischief purely from a personal disgrunted and truly unprofessional view. Any truly professional person would walk away with dignity. Unfortunately this poster realises what he has lost in being removed from the company.

It’s a real pity admin do not do their job properly to protect investors old and new from such a person, who, it would appear, through their lack of control are encouraging such people to post.

Nuff said.

Im still around. As PP wrote, Im just waiting since RPG are now in a holding position with regard HK/Macau and China/Asia as there are ongoing discussions by the possible PRC partner who are awaiting a green light from the regulatory agency before PLE submit a new investigational new drug application to the CFDA.

With respect to Recordati and further launches, they have stated, which was posted here sometime ago a while back that the launch of Greece and Romania would be in September with Czech , Slovakia and Poland launches in January.

I did query with Jamie that given the so called "dissapointing sales" statement, Recordati may decide to delay further launches to concentrate on increasing the E5 awareness. He did express the opinion that although RPG now have no more say in matters related to Recordati, it was felt that Recordati would continue with their schedule....But of course, if that was indeed the case, why has there been no launch announcement ???

If anyone wants an answer direct from the horses mouth regarding this, I advise them to email Recordati"s investor relations who usually respond pdq for the latest information.

Shot up to 0.345 within minutes, then came the sellers. will be interesting to see if it can hold onto the gains.

Also Interesting how this little country in country has such an impact when the EU launch announcement only caused a drop.

Maybe, as speculated, there is a lot more to this than thought. If RPG can get Fortacin in RPC now before an expected mad rush, it will certainly corner the market....... Thanks for the link Heimdel an interesting read.
