Unfortunately it doesn't help if RPG management give interviews to the wrong journalists. Apparently the recent CMP article was written by a mining journalist.

Did I mention that apparently the intrepid ex leader was the one who initiated the 6 dose cannister. I understand he agreed it with Recordati without in-house consultation and was so confident, didn't bother to try several fill sizes, even though was advised to do so. No wonder he was convinced Recordati would walk when it failed and we ended up with a 12 dose can approval.......Got professional pharma egg on his face and bin kicking himself ever since. Then further down the road has been trying to kick the company and the product ever since.

Mind you, I still think the updated version will be again vague and too easy to interpret the wrong way. I really don't know why it is so difficult to just write that the numbers are from the trials period. But then again, our man is known to suffer from vague-illitis .......lol

I agree with The.Italian. The article is not that good at all. They infer that 23,500 can have been sold in 2 years (since end of 2016)...... Surely no one is going to invest with those sort of figures......or will they ?

Also towards the end it states:

Which is far cheaper and they indicate does the same job. Not that positive for us is it.

A good summary of what most must feel. I am sure most also feel that things would have progressed far quicker and more professionally if we had had a more competent BOD with at least some knowledge in the field of pharmaceuticals and not just mining ..... ;-)

Yes, you are correct (I should have checked first). It was for the 2018 interims when no profit warning was announced, but was announced in the results.

The first payment has probably already been received, however. Since RPG are currently in a closed period sorting out the end of year results, I don't expect any announcement and instead expect some mention in the results. That's of course after the profit warning. Mind you, if my memory serves me correctly, last year no profit warning was made until the results were released.

That is true, however. There is a possibility that they may give approval without the need of all the fuss, which could mean it will be on sale a lot sooner than 3 years and could be helped now that Fosun are onboard. We will know in the next 3 to 6 months which way it will go.

Not wanting to get anyone's hopes up given RPG'S track record in approval processes, but fingers n legs crossed.

Recordati don't have sales force or presence in many of the smaller EU/CIS and North African countries, but still they are included in the Recordati territories. The fact that PLE had to change from the 12 dose to 20 dose for the UK launch due to price point clearly indicates that the UK was indeed part of the "EU" territories and was only launched by PLE to ensure lock-in of the approval whilst a new agreement was agreed. From what I remember the UK was considered a low sales region (even with a pop of 60mill) and as such was low on the importance list, however. Due to the disappointing sales in the E5, I guess to relaunch in the UK with the 12 dose canister the costs are considered next to nothing since its already out there ?

Ohh and looking back through the PLE announcements sometime back, I noticed that it was stated that a US partner would only come onboard following FDA approval, however. Given that we now have an EU, PRC and Asian agreements, maybe this may help to encourage a pre approval agreement ?

Hopefully this is not the case for Latin America and North America ???

I am quite certain that the UK was always a part of Recordati's territories, however. Because they needed a country to lock in the approval and since Recordati and PLE had to revisit the agreement which would not occur till after the expiry date, it was agreed that RPG/PLE would soft launch in the UK (they always stated a small batch of 20 dose cans would be produced for just an event, although they seemed to think it was not required, forgetting they"re own forgetfulness). This was why there was a "close call" since PLE had forgotten to agree a price point for the 12 dose can with Recordati since they would be the ones eventually marketing the product. As such the launch was made with the 20 dose can. Although the above is not based on an actual statement as such, its pretty easy to join the dots of the event from the information I recived. I also seem to think there may be something hidden away in a long lost announcement to the effect. I just cant be arsed to look for it as its all in the past... :-)

We all do. It's been far too long coming. Hopefully 2019 will be the year of a change in the companies fortunes. Especially since its the year of the pig, which also indicates good fortune. Oink oink oink.

Apparently Recordati are being proactive in the background trying to stimulate awareness and encourage the embarrassed to come out in the already launched countries. This, unfortunately is at the expense of Poland, Romania, Greece, Czech Rep and Slovakia being delayed indefinitely (since no reschedule dates have been given). They have, however, now brought the UK relaunch to the front probably since in the UK online doctors and prescriptions can be obtained without show of face. And although the relaunch is supposed to happen this month, I wont be holding my breath since they have already gone away from their own schedule for the above other countries, so I wait and see.

I am not expecting large figures for the last 10 months for the already launched countries for reasons announced and discussed before, but hopefully the first Chinese agreement payment (1mill USD) is due any day now, if not already received and a possible further payment/s in the next 6/12 months if the approval process is positive.
