All to play for3 Jul 2021 08:28
The Times Newspaper this morning:-
"It is understood that at a meeting of the Covid operations committee on Monday ministers are expected to sign off a plan that will mean the fully vaccinated will be “advised” to take daily tests but not be required to do so. Cabinet members believe that changing the system could allow them to focus financial support on people who test positive, after repeated complaints that infectious people and their contacts were not isolating properly because of a lack of compensation."
The above bodes well from a stance of testing being continued - I do find it reckless to not enforce testing in certain situations. My wife takes two inferior chinese tests per week due to working with the NHS. My neighbour only last week, had carried out 8 innova tests on her child (who had symptoms) and each test provided a negative result - yet she was positive after taking a PCR test causing multiple people, forced into isolation (how is this acceptable)?
Once a post mortem is carried out on the Innova contract, I can image, there has been many unscrupulous shenanigans that have taken place. However, that said, Omega/HMG are still working together, whilst ODX are working to conclude the commercial discussions which are being facilitated by the government.
For the HMG to carry out a U-turn on Omega, considering the costs associated with the Machinery, implementing it etc would be wrong on every level, and it has been re-emphasised by many knowledgeable investors on here (through sources), that there is more than enough evidence out there, to show testing will be here for years.
You can only imagine, in the future, once Borders are fully opened, and life returns to some sort of normality, the new variants and mass spikes in cases that will continue to occur time and time again - As Andrew Marr pointed out last week, being double jabbed still caused him to catch covid.
Omega have only recently, taken on further staff last week and are still looking for additional people to join their team - they seem extremely confident with the road ahead and no doubt after months of comms with the government, they should be soon in a position, to understand how the company will be used going forward.
As we know, at home use is currently being worked on and would be an excellent approval prior to the investors presentation. I would most certainly, take EVERYTHING with a pinch of salt on these forums, as weasels such as Gary/JAdam have spent months trying to slander this company.
There is plenty going on in the background. Lets hope for a strong July, as long term shareholders, really deserve some tangible, positive news.
For people doubting testing, you only need to look at the Volumes which will be required within the NHS/Schools/Police to name a very few and Colin has always stated, if anything changes for the good or bad, he would let the market know, so with that in mind, nothing has changed - You cannot vaccinate 100 percent
