Firstly, I would like to say I don’t wish on anybody to sustain a loss like ncyt shareholders did on Friday- it’s a sad sight to see but what I will say is any of there shareholders who for months slated omega got their just deserts.

There seems to be a lot of trolls on social media this weekend. Albeit innova have obtained another 1bn contract, this shows the volume of demand which the government are building for over the next period of time and for me cements what I already believed, that the govt will fully utilise the £374m contract- could you believe the reaction if the government decided to prefer a Chinese test, to a hand picked Government test.

PCR most certainly has a place, but LFT is where the government is really focusing their resources to help open up the Economy.

April is where Colin has alluded to us producing now 2m per week- let’s hope we get some great news this week after his well deserved holiday.

Is the governments recent increased/requirements for lateral flow tests to detect the new variants part of the reason for the delay of tests availability.
Afraid I can’t speak on behalf of the Government

How can ODX be preparing for an order (and RNS it’s order size when signed) if according to the RNS they are somewhat in the dark themselves. How can any business run this way (not a dig at ODX but the government).
We are in regular contact with DHSC and careful planning around the implementation is at the centre of these discussions. As you can imagine there are a number of moving parts that need carefully managed and communicated to undertake something of this scale.

There are huge significant research and development investment HMRC tax rebates that ODX are entitled to. Are the business aware of this and using this to full advantage. Various R and D Tax rebate consultants can provide this service if required And in our best interest/return.
We do access these tax credits and have done so for a number of years

ABC test and AntiBody testing - You have noticed that the media/vaccination centres/Gov UK/NHS etc (I think everyone) is not evening mentioning this. Does CK think or know if AntiBody testing is phase 3 (Vacs/Testing LFT being phase 1 and 2) and AntiBody being Phase 3.
The focus just now quite rightly is vaccinating everyone as quickly as possible, where I believe the need for antibody testing will come when we need to re-vaccinate and determining who to provide a booster to, given that the scale of re-vacciantions will unlikely to be at the same scale ( the centres being used for example will be back in use for their original purpose) There is also the possibility of confirming you have immunity to allow access to venues etc.

Have the majority of the 250 staff have now started work.
Our staff numbers are increasing to plan and staff will continue to join over the next month

Is Alva currently producing anything, What is it and in what quantity.
We are producing all the tests

Will capacity be fully utilised for the covid segment of the business in the event that Hmg and Moligic orders do not gain the desired traction. In other words, the company can fill its capacity for the covid segment of the business in some way. Maybe even manufacture at scale for a pharma company and utilise its capacity by manufacturing a alternative product .For example a pregnancy test.
Our lateral flow test production capacity can be deployed across a number of LFTs, however we have a range of LFTs that we will produce (CD4, COVID antigen LFTs and COVID antibody LFTs) so we expect our capacity to be utilised.

Im trying to understand how Coin has/can cope with the huge growth that the company can have over such a small period of time.
We have a great team and have also strengthened our team to ensure we deliver on our growth plans. Careful planning and execution of the plan is how we manage this exciting time

Why is that Ncyt can give profit margins why before Government orders and Odx cannot?
I cant comment on Novacyt, my only focus is Omega and will we provide information where we can and when its possible to do so. I don’t know of any listed manufacturing companies that disclose publicly profit margins on a single customer relating to orders for a single product line. It’s commercially sensitive information and unlikely to be something the UK Government will want to be subject to disclosure. finnCap provide guidance on gross margins and will continue to do so when we have orders come through.

Are we still expecting large orders from the ABC test as if so we are in such a strong position
As mentioned above, the consortium is confident in the commercial prospects for this test and would expect more information during qtr 1 on this to be released by the consortium
Would you mind asking him to clarify the profit on the ABC rapid antibody test we would manufacture for the government.please?
Our position hasn’t changed on this and would refer to the Finncap note (22 June 2020) which suggests around a 50% gross margin as being a good guide. Remember we are supplying part (all be it a key part) of the overall product

Communication and optimism via Twitter has significantly dried up of late. Should investors be concerned especially after the recent RNS and why has the Twitter communication dried up and coincided with the recent negative RNS.
Whenever we have something to share, we always look to do so and I believe that the overall comms on twitter this year has been significantly improved (confirmed by a number of positive comments we have received)

Were the expansion and increased recruitment plans already/being put in place assuming a greater government LFT order value coming our way and what is the immediate back-up plan if orders are significantly less than anticipated to make full use of the outlay. Will the business be compensated for waisted investment if the worse case happens and orders significantly lower than originally hyped on Twitter.
We are focused on increasing our headcount to allow us to produce the capacity we are committed to and believe that we will have demand to utilise the capacity going forward.

Whose LFT test(s) are we waiting to manufacture and is their a timeframe on this becoming available and when it starts causing the business ‘standing time’ waiting.
We are awaiting the UK Government to confirm which test they want us to manufacture, clearly from a speed of introduction we hope that this will be Mologic.

What is the business doing to ensure they access the European and worldwide LFT market to ensure LFT business longevity, France for example has just approved LFT testing.
As mentioned above we have just CE marked our Visitect antigen test and starting the commercialisation process and this is to target non-Government demand. The UK-RTC is also actively working on registrations in a number of co

Sorry for the delay in responding

I have tried to answer as many questions as I can, some of these I can’t answer as the answers aren’t in the public domain and would be appropriate for me to answer. I have also taken note of some of the comments especially around market number/forecasts and is something we will look to provide via both a market update and Finncap, once we have confirmation of the DHSC test of choice

A video would be really good showing the equipment and people at work. Would give good insight to shareholders who are genuinely interested in how it works.
This is something we have discussed and will look at during April

Q2 coming up how close is TT? (I get questioned daily on this)
TT is a key part of CE Marking and we are happy that the process has reached a stage where we are confident that we can produce the test reproducibly and at scale, which allowed us to CE Mark . Next key stage for the test is the commercial launch and registering the test in our target countries.

Antibody testing -: any upcoming tenders ?
As mentioned recently the consortium are making good progress in a number of countries and we expect demand to be forthcoming

Do you envisage antibody testing being a short term requirement
I believe that antibody testing will be more than a short term requirement and will form a key part of the next phase of vaccination. I also believe that approaches to antibody testing will differ from country to country.

II’s what is being done to attract them?
Our broker is working hard to attract II’s investors and we present to both current and potential investors on a regular basis. However huge price volatility based on small trades, the large retail investor following we have and the lack of available stock in decent chunks does make it difficult to attract IIs easily. Obviously the most traditional way to get new II on board is via a Placing but that is not on the cards and is not something I suspect current investors want to see

how quick can you switch machines from one test to another.
The machines are very easy to switch from one test to another and is something that happens on a regular basis.
Whats his feelings on how the antigen test market is going to move, in his opinion is it going to go more saliva based.
I believe that the market has moved away from saliva due to sensitivity and specificity and focus is now on front of nose Nasal swabs – as less intrusive and accurate.

an update on global covid opportunities would be nice. Think it's been particularly over-shadowed recently with the big contract award. Particularly does Colin still see opportunities in major markets such as India.
I do believe we will have opportunities outside of the UK via the Visitect Antigen test and UK-RTC antibody test. I don’t however see India as an opportunity due to pricing challenges in that market. I believe the US offers an exciting opportunity for both formats.
