SP is where it is for a bunch of reasons .

As we all know the CLN will always be a handbrake for any stock if it isn’t being placed with sticky hands .

To address this with a competent broker is in my opinion elementary share price management which has been overlooked.

I’d suggest there would be many many millions of £ that would be residing here had it been addressed, however our “ leadership team “ don’t appear to have this on their “ to do list”.

I am also of the opinion that the jury within the wider market is out on Christina Coughlin the CEO , as I alluded to previously I think she is woefully under qualified for the role that she now finds herself in. If one takes a look at the RNS she has been gifted to impart with the market since she arrived and not one brown penny has she added to the SP.

There are Biotech CEOs that would part with a limb to have the news flow she has been provided with.

Where are where we are, but my own opinion is I’d rather have a CEO with demonstrably proven credentials in that role that knew a little about Oncology, rather than an Oncologist who knows a little bit about being a CEO….

She is learning on the job and it shows……

Oh I’m very much complaining.

I’d preface my answer by informing the reader that I’m not and never have been the CEO of a PLC navigating the waters that AVCTA find themselves in, much like Christina Coughlin.

A priority would have been an instruction to our broker to find a home for some / all of the CLN stock each quarter. That they have been Incapable of this despite our scientists going gangbusters with data speaks to incompetence & mismanagement of the SP.

I would have taken up on the universally lauded “ brilliant idea” from the 2023 AGM for a layman’s blog to simplify the RNS & presentation data for the humble PI. CC was working for the business at that time so I’m assuming she was either in the room at the time or took the time to watch the presentation.

On the subject of communication it’s unfortunate that CC lacks the awareness ( and those around her won’t tell her ) to know that her own presentation skillset is diabolical , a “ moving jaw” ( google lord Charles puppet & you will meet her doppelgänger) , can’t read autocue , zero charisma, can’t communicate the story, fails to appreciate she isn’t talking to a room of scientists .

To think we used to say AS was drab…..!

I would also have a competent PR team all over our endeavours like a rash , thus making loud noises about our end games and where we are in the story.

All pretty basic stuff.

I’d conclude by saying I appear to be in the minority of people

that doesn’t believe CC walks on water. I think she readily accepts the plaudits for the scientists work and most probably the SAB’s strategy whilst remaining mute on the SP performance.

She had 19 unremarkable month’s experience as a CEO prior to taking over ,yet walked in without onyone raising an eyebrow at her her lack of strategic and or commercial nous ….. this mornings SP suggests she either doesn’t care about the SP , or lacks the savvy to do anything about it . I’d pay her the compliment of suggesting it’s the latter ……….AIMHO

there is nothing wrong with any ceo being judged on their companies sp nine months in , especially when you factor in a near revolving door of scientists bringing positive data in to the boardroom..!

so given the sp is pretty much where it was on cc’s first day , its an unsatisfactory situation by any method of measurement.

if our mo is 8ollocks$ to the sp & let the science play out and do its thing then lets do that and sack the pr team . that we have a pr outfit why not put the ******* thing to work ?

that there are posters hereabouts and on x that routinely explain the scientific nuances and frequently wheedle out information that should be being kicked around by the company is just plain wrong.

The scientists are keeping their side of the bargain by continually knocking the ball out of the park - time for our “ leadership team” to step up to the plate commercially…… it’s important not to conflate the two sides of the business…..

To have finished 4% up on a fantastic RNS ....if ever they could follow it up with a DX sale and a CLN payment in cash it would improve sentiment no end & might just give the SP the kick in the ar$e it needs to start a climb north - finger crossed.
