today has been a good turn around and rather strange,as I had emailed Burford on evening to ask when the application to the SEC would be, I normally get a very quick return email back, but here is the news. Lets see what happens later in the week with the meeting with Judge Preska. I could not find the reiteration from Liberion regarding price forecast, If you have the link, please post here.

Will be interesting to see the trend today. Will take a look at the two suggestions you made regarding technical analysis, although this area is new to me, my past trades are all based on judgement, reading etc. I guess we have made above 20% on trading Burford compared with our total holding, but our current holding is in excess of 36,000 shares so a good return since March, but also risky having a large holding

have been day trading Burford since March. Got in at 318p but sold and bought many times on the way up, have some sort of a feel for the movement and background of the company now.
Hoping to keep my lot longer term now, accumulated a large holding now, so could be large gains, or large losses, who knows but learn a little more each day, on another note, I use my instinct and a fair bit of background reading, but am thinking of getting some software or subscribing to a site to get to grips with the more technical analysis, could you recommend anything in this field ?

never used this site before, how reliable do you find it ?

Take a look at the march low of 280p, since then there have been peaks and troughs and quite turbulent, but the main high peaks are in an increasing trend, suggesting the next high peak will be above 570p. We are looking at a short period here, since March. You can day trade this stock quite easily, but get trapped and you have to wait for the next up. March to July is not a long period. I can see if the Peterson case gets more positive next week and with the NYSE we will head for 950p, (broker target) but don’t expect it next week or the week after !

Some big buys going through, will be good to see this back over the £5 mark.

I didn’t see the 4 lots of 25k shares go through, but on the bell there was a 40k. Share buy.

It’s been static for a while now, no exciting news to lift the price.

Have a little patience, the fundamentals are good. When the investor confidence returns so will the price stability.

Interesting article in BBC today about the future of battery technology, sadly the work “Vanadium did not feature. lots of mention of Lithium and Cobalt though.
