This is very strange, when you look at this it doesn’t add up,

Pulled out on 21st, not back in yet, but observing with a keen eye.
The sp is not as predictable as it was previously in the run from April through to June.
I’m hoping to buy in just above 500 , I will be patient for the time being.

FFC,
sold the lot last week, 36,000 shares at 554, 562 and 564, as with you didn’t anticipate the upsurge.
Will be hopefully be buying in again and taking a close look at how the SP unfolds.
The FTSE going below the 6000 mark is a significant turn and the growing pandemic concerns will have raised a few eye brows, it will be an interesting next few days for the market as a whole. Keep me posted on your thoughts FFC

The upside seems to be greater as you suggest, but the SP pattern if a reflection on its recent trend would suggest another dip before it comes up again.
The FTSE is getting low, if it breaks below 6000, the psycological barrier would be more damaging.

I wonder how low it will go this time, the past would suggest that it will go down over a two or 3 day period and then start to level off.

Sp has gone strange, normally up and down, not seen this before, maybe those who were shorting it have gone to Spain for a holiday, but they will be back !

I can see various share price broker forecasts;
one at 2600p from Liberum
another at 1160 by Peel Hunt,
Incidentally Berenberg had a target of 2070p back in August 2019,
It’s difficult to know what to believe

Is this forecast for the next 12 months ?

Any large settlement to Burford from the Peterson case should In my opinion be an opportunity to reward shareholders with a one off special dividend.

Fully agreed, the risk is we loose out, doesn’t make sense to short this , but that is the current indicator

The mood has changed from Buy to short,
Can’t understand this as there is so much good news about Bushveld.
I do think it’s time write to the CEO and ask about the share price and what can be done
