Yes I think it would have been better if they had decoupled the outlook from the results. Given it appears they might have suspected the results could be delayed, they would have had time to draft a trading update.
I might grab myself a cheeky little top up though.

I work for a company that has a similar business model.
Funds like to work with entities that have experience in the sector, they also tend to have their favoured partners for specific types of investment.
It will take far far longer than the rampers want you to believe to scale to £100m, if indeed they manage it.

The RNS yesterday boils down to the CEO having had a chat with his mate and they've decided to have a punt at developing a couple of small peaking plants. It hardly exciting or transformative and it'll be difficult to extract a premium price for simple projects like that.

Agree. Let the auditors finish their work and the results will be released - we more or less know what they are going to say anyway.
It wasn't the results I was waiting for in any case, I was hoping there would be some forward looking statements and an update on bank trial and contract pipeline. It's the uncertainty over forward outlook that caused the share price to tank last year, and bringing clarity to that is what will bring confidence back here.

This technology is very difficult to make work - alluded to in the RNS where they refer to buying mothballed plants. Investors have had their fingers burnt in gasification more than once.
If they can really get this to work reliably and cost effectively then indeed it's a bright future, just don't underestimate the difficulty of getting there. I expect there will be clawbacks in the deals should plant performance not meet the specification, which could be painful.

Good report, and buried within it is the proposed funding structure for CAPEX - 50:50 debt:equity. Suggests dilution should be relatively limited, all being well.

ALLNothing, Alfred you make good points and certainly some food for thought. I may rethink, might even re-enter here. But something just smells a bit off with it. Folk posting they have sent a TR1 form in, but it never appears and if one of the TR1 holders decides to sell it'll be another MAC type SP drop.
I think I just feel more comfortable investing in "real" companies that actually do things and have cashflow etc. This feels a bit like gambling, and you don't even know the odds. We all have different risk profiles and investing aims I guess.

I completed my exit from here yesterday and put the funds into AMTE which is doing rather nicely today. Would have been nice to have sold at the top but at least I realised before it turned into a loss.

I haven't "bashed" Echo Energy, merely pointed out that rampers are using the exact same script they did a fortnight ago.
I still have half my RDGC holding, which I'm happy to let run and see what happens.
Amuses me that people get so upset that people dare to have a different investment strategy or view on a share from themselves. A sign of insecurity.

Let's say they RTO something worth £50m - the shareholders of that business aren't going to give CRTM shareholders all of, or even most of the equity are they? CRTM will issue new shares to give to the owners of the target such that they end up with the majority of the equity, no?

Why? It could be anything in July. It's a total punt and SP is completely dependant upon sentiment until such time as a deal is done, and we have no idea what value any deal might realise for existing shareholders.
I sold half my holding this morning as I didn't like the price action over the past couple of sessions. This afternoons fall confirmed that was the right decision. I'll dump the rest tomorrow morning if it doesn't start to recover. I'll take 20% profit over watching it slide to a losing position - done that too many times.

What am I missing? Aren't shareholders just going to get diluted into oblivion when an RTO happens, given the company has little cash?

I'm one of them. Downloaded. Read T's & C's. Thought "not on your nelly are you having any of my cash", not opened app since.
Not all downloads will translate to active users or revenue.

Yeah I don't understand the "working capital" either. Surely they can just sell some BTC to generate cash?
Same with giving away 5% of the company with the land deal instead of paying cash.

Being pumped on Twitter too. I bought just before the last spike and sold out in despair last week. C'est la vie.

I dumped my holding on Friday having seen an 80% profit slide to a 10% loss. I'd only bought with punt money when it was rising in the first half of February. I should have sold on that February spike but was too greedy. I started to do some proper research and the more I found the less I liked. The company is grossly overvalued, that deal with SwissPharmaCan that everyone is getting excited about is worth about 2.4m Euro in REVENUE per annum for the next 3 years. They have some CBD drops for sale on their website and, err, not a lot else aside from PR guff.
Lesson learned for me - don't jump into a stock out of FOMO with no research, or if you do and are lucky enough to get into significant profit, take that profit.
