The great unwashed were saying this back in early December with the information from SA and emerging information from the UK. Talk about catching up!!!!

It seems some of the experts have been outside in the real world of late and picked up the great unwashed, the plebs, the grafters, the uneducated, the minions, the navies, ain't being fooled by anybody and are beginning to ask some rather awkward questions about previous data analysis and whether this has been vastly overblown for the purposes of gain by those who held the narrative for a while. Me thinks some of the knighthoods were dealt out a little too early and there are some stinkers to be exposed in the inquiry.

Is the government data for people who just happen to test positive for covid, or is it for people who went to hospital due to the effect of the covid. This is becoming a rather toxic question in many countries.

But what caught my eye was a 100% anti-tory pro-labour propaganda graph, a classic form the BBC. Scroll down to the spending graph. The key to note here is the x axis, the time span. If you squeeze the entire pre-Blair tory government spending and place it alongside the shorter span of Labour, you will of course get a greater figure, the time span is shorter. Furthermore, these are averaged numbers. Normally you would have a consistent linear x axis over time, plot the yearly spend, you can normalise it or make it relevant to a base bench mark. The graph would look very different. VERY different. Now, looking at that smoke and mirrors, tell me that the expert modelling for covid has not become politically biased for various special interest groups. And as for climate change....

fordm, for that to have any perspective what you need to know what is the difference in distribution for covid and non covid patients with equivalent symptoms. The age spread will clearly tend towards the older groups as they are less able with depleted immune systems over a lifetime. But is that any different for a patients suffering with covid or influenza?

Do you actually believe in a year or two there will be no family collective group pressing for action to be taken against people who duped their loved ones to not receive the vaccine or booster, and subsequently died of covid itself? Do you think there will be no action groups? Do think those particular deaths will pass by with redress? Do you think there will be no interest in why and what they were exposed to resulting in their deaths? You will have a deep cross-referenced trail all over the internet where you have broadcast your lies. You will be categorized as an 'activist' as a promoter and instigator as opposed to simply being in a debate. There will be a lot of very, very, very angry families in the future who will want retribution and they will dig their heels in and pursue the lot of you and you will be called to account for your deadly actions. Posting antivax propaganda with the intention to prevent somebody getting the recommended vaccinations will catch up with you on day.

Given the number jabbed is in the billions, not just millions, if there was any issue we would know about it by now. The reaction rate is actually astonishingly low given the number of people now jabbed but showing ANY sort of reaction. And how different are those numbers compared to all the previous precovid vaccinations? And how does it compare to the number of people who have severe reactions to peanuts? The only scare story was put about by the EU commission because it put itself in a face saving race against the Astra jab and wanted everybody to go with the pfizer jab which a money stream. The EU has a lot to answer for by setting off a lot of this suspicion about this covid vaccines.

What did the Dr reply when you contacted him to support the quote you wanted to attribute to him? Did he say something about you should clarify he never said that, is not anti-vaccination, supports covid vaccination and you have 24hrs before he sets the lawyers on you, oh and on his salary he can afford it.

So what was the response?

Oh but the context is absolutely clear. You are saying that THEY are saying 'the jab is pointless' . There is no splitting of hairs, you are culpable for your invention of an opinion you ascribe to the nurses and 'the guy'.

No go and tweet him and see if he agrees, 'the jabs are pointless' and that THAT is what he was saying.

Go on, prove it.

I'm not telling you what someone might say, I'm telling you what they actually said. Now tweet him, and post the response.

An outstanding legal question is whether people like yourself who are and have been putting people at risk of death by dissuading them with false arguments, are culpable in manslaughter. You may like to think that as of today you are untouchable, but in the years to come, as the families of those who have died because of anti-vaxx campaigns get organised, you may find your internet trail leads back to you personally and your persistence in the misinformation campaign is sufficient for you to be cited as liable and even face criminal prosecution for involuntary manslaughter. You will be aware of many long winded campaigns where victims and families of victims and incredibly persistent in their campaigns and frequently win. Maye in 10 years time I shall read about the trial where 150 anti-vaxx defendants were found guilty of involuntary manslaughter and duley sentenced to prison terms with all the catastrophic consequences that brings to their financial and family position. We will see.

Hurtle, YOU, and YOU alone attempted to mislead by implying the Dr had said the jab is pointless. He didn't. You added a link which people will take as some sort of qualification of your ascribed comment to him. He was talking about mandated vaccination which is another subject altogether. There is no clever clever way of spinning out of it. YOU made up a quote and assigned it to him in place of what he actually said.

To prove your point, send him a tweet asking him if he agrees with YOUR statement that 'the jab is pointless' and that is what he said to the minister. I don't do twitter so can't send the message myself. I suspect a campaigner like you does have one. So send the message as laid out above and then post his response. I guarantee the Dr will be positive about the benefits of having the jab, but question one of the methodologies for getting people resistant to have it.

I will guarantee if you ask Dr Steve James if the 'jab is pointless' he will tell you otherwise and say they are critical for healthcare in this pandemic. He may also tell you forcing vaccination can be counter productive in scaring people away, but that is a debating point which he is entitled to along with the other side of the argument, such as in Italy and France.

notaflper. The short position is with IAG only. Just looked at Easy J, massive decline in short, TUI, Wizz, Jet2 - none of them have the rise in declared short positions.

Only reason to think is that shorters expect IAG results is going to cause the sp to crash, there is going to be a RI which will normalise to a sp crash, or IAG is going to sell off an asset such as BA to remain solvent (or under EU commission diktat) which will have a similar impact of sp. The short position appears to be unique for IAG in the sector. It is why I am very cautious still of taking a position. I would need to ensure plenty of funds available to buy up an allotment and ride out a potential normalised dip which the shorters are hedging against.

We now need to see all travel restrictions lifted worldwide, all the advisory committees disbanded and the inquiry to be truly open and not just looking for Boris bashing opportunities.
