I am therefore inclined to believe the extent of this organisation is in fact more the figment of the Russian propaganda machine. It may use some references to actual organisation, such as the Kyiv government press office, but the rest is made up. The idea is to believe anything from Ukraine is somehow a twisted piece of Ukraine propaganda and therefore to be dismissed.

I suggest you check again. Given the random terrorist style attack on the population, many - mostly women and children and the elderly and infirm, had to evacuate the country. Many have now returned but the persistent random attacks on civilians means many dare not return yet.

You very conveniently change timelines and invent non-existent events to suite. For example. Russia embarked on an intense terrorist campaign to wipe out the electricity supply to the civilian population to to freeze the entire population to death. That meant a very widespread of targets impossible to cover. Where Ukraine did have SAMs, they were very effective. Now Russia has switched to focus on specific high value targets, it is much easier to concentrate defence systems. Hence the success rate of intercepts. Those success rates are only where the ability to intercept is available. And critically the so called hypersonic missile is no match for number of SAM systems, not just Patriot. The mach 10 claim is a lie, it barely makes 5.1 mach which is average missile tech, but slows down between mach 1 an 1.5 for target acquisition. That is manageable for many SAM systems, especially given the large radar image it creates due to it's bulk.

Russia is penned in to it's retreat positions of November. Why has it been building fortifications so frantically if the Ukraine army is full of old conscripts who would rather just give up?

100% untrue, there are NO NATO personnel in Ukraine except special diplomatic protection agents protecting visitors, but they include all nationalities.

As for your summary claiming Russia gifted territory back and has settled on what it gained, Russia was defeated on multiple fronts with limited WORLD supplied weapons and hardware, most from NATO COUNTRIES, as NATO doesn't actually have an army or it's own hardware to donate! The limited supply has been on the basis of not increasing escalation by Russia but trying to allow Ukraine to at least stop the murdering of it's children outside Russian controlled areas, the ones that haven't been kidnapped that is.

Russia has, as such, been penned down in the invaded territories and has only made one incursion, Bahkmut, and it has cost it very dearly. There are also hundreds of quite deadly sabotage operations behind Russian lines which are rarely reported. Life ain't easy being in a Russian uniform in the occupied territories which is why so much of the territory is confined to barracks most of the time.

Having pushed Russia back to the east and penned them down, Ukraine has been gathering more equipment and training for some 6, 8, 10 months for a counteroffensive to take their territory back. That preparation is now nearing completion and operations have begun already.

Russia has had to go entirely on the defensive, resort to blatant state terrorism directly against civilians and civilian infrastructure because it cannot move forward on any positions but has still failed to break Ukraine. Now it has dug in a defensive line, A DEFENSIVE LINE, ready for the counteroffensive.

Based on Russian past performance, whilst they victory will be hard fought, Russia will be destroyed on the battlefield and this will light a fuse back to Moscow and the whole of Russia will go up in flames in a bloody civil war.

The only question is when will the Russian generals call a halt to the slaughter of it's army and withdraw. They only did it partially last November back to defensive lines. Next time I doubt they will take any notice of the Kremlin.

I can tell by the ramping up of carefully written Kremlin sourced propaganda suddenly emerging here, Moscow is shi.ting itself over what is about happen.

And it should, there will be no holding back when Ukraine soldiers engage, Russia murdered too many women and children, the time for revenge draws closer.

There's a lot info coming in re Bahkmut, on the flanks. I did say the tactic was to draw the enemy in to the centre and east then attack on the north/south flanks. The chatter is Russians are being obliterated and whole units easily wiped out by the advancing flanks. It is a turkey shoot. It will continue at the discretion of Ukraine. They have control of the town tactically. How the Russian's fell for such an easy trap is anybody's guess but they haven't shown themselves to be the brightest buttons, more clowns at the circus so I suppose it is no surprise they have been so easily manipulated and trapped.

Telling it how it is. For those of you who drank the propaganda and took to the defence of it, it is of course a very difficult thing to be confronted with real world actual reality. You are angry, feel cheated, depressed, you become delusional, lash out, defensive, upset, tearful and deliberately refuse to accept blatant incontestable in-ya-face truths.

You have to learn to live with loss. You are in pre-bereavement in anticipation of what is coming. Like the horse you bet on falls at a hurdle and is out of the race but the final race result is still to be displayed. You know what the result will be. Russia is already out of this race, Ukraine need only cross the line, in its own time and in its own way.

The 'spring offensive' was largely a runaway media story idea that took root because Ukraine is rightly pretty tight lipped on tactics. The offensive is actually underway now but it is not how some of you want to imagine it like a Napoleonic battle with blocks of troops being manoeuvred around a battlefield. I told you weeks ago, the action will be in small pockets, some long attacks, others short and brief but heavy handed. Currently Russia is trying to tie down the Patriots within Kyiv so they can not be used to provide short bouts of air superiority on the front line allowing the Ukraine's to mount intense highly targeted strikes on Russian key positions. But now the US know the Patriot is supreme, many more units will be deployed. The Crimea bridge will be a key target- that will be hit multiple times in one raid with Storm Shadow on the suspended section, if the wires can be hit at a small angle then the whole suspended section will collapse rather than trying to demolish the towers.

So far the probing, sabotage, and Bahkmut operation are for testing new weapons, battlefield experience and preparing for bigger attacks, such as on the diversion of Russian units to Bahkmut where they become vulnerable whilst relocating.

There was never going to be some all-in charge of the Light brigade. There will be many small battles. Some short be intense battles. They will be well planned and shelved ready for particular variables like weather, air cover, hovercraft, fuel lines, bridge engineers and so on. On a number of fronts the enemy will simply run, as they have a number of times so far. The Russian fortifications are based on some sort of big Russian style assault. The line will be next to useless without supplies.

It will be tough, there will be rapid advances, there will be some sticky spots. But it is Russia that will pleading for negotiations as they are currently doing because the military know they have no hope against the trained and freshly equipped Ukrainians who have access to far superior live situational awareness on the battlefield.
