I personally don't think the travel sector will be hit, indeed under these kind of headlines the opposite tends to happen sometimes as people alleviate the hardship with some change of scenery and weather.

One thing I do notice missing from all the discussion over gas prices. The UK has more than enough gas in shale deposits for our needs. But the complete hysterical reaction to shale gas and fracking stopped it. Was that clever? Where are all those anti-fracking talking heads being hauled up in front of the media to qualify the current situation and explaining why people are facing massive price hikes rather than ever vanishing bills as more and more shale gas comes on line? Nowhere to be seen because our great democratic media are completely one-sided in this climate change crap. Well I hope all those who object to people like me raising these issues enjoy paying for your huge increase in bills. YOU deserve it, why the rest of the people have to be forced to pay for the car crash from your beliefs is beyond me, viva la democracy, lol. Yeah - one day. Yes, Ed1, I estimated before it was not on the cards. Although the disarray in the west left a wide open door I genuinely think Putin was worried he had no exit plan since there was nothing coming to face him [expect 5000 German helmets] than to actually go ahead and drive some tanks over!!! Ukraine may kick off a little if the ethnic territories are not handed over under a veil of democracy though but there have been much worse wars and the travel corridors are just shifted around the borders. The one that could have a major impact id if the Siberian route is terminated. Routing around that will be very difficult these days with all the other conflict zones.

And the last post I reported was sometime early/mid December I think. Meanwhile every post I submit is being reported with one or two successes for deletion, for posts that are purely related to the stock I may add. Report often enough and the moderator will sometimes just delete as they get swamped. What upsets people most on here is the simple fact they bought shares expecting big rises and it hasn't happened. So those who held back and didn't get locked in are targeted with displacement behaviour which more often than not involves abusive posts. Filtering is just some means of blocking out the constant reminder of the relative positions. I will claim I post far more relevant material for airline stock holders than all of the whingers put together. And that is the other problem they have. They quite literally have nothing to say for themselves. So they attack somebody who does.

At the end of the day, who is actually a problem on these bb. Foul mouthed trolls who can't hack it? I don't have any other avatars or email addresses. And I repeat what I have said before, be careful overloading the moderators in tray with reports that don't actually break any rules. Oh yeah, and where exactly did you 'wait' until the morning. It wasn't at the airport because everybody gets chucked out of Linate early hours when they close the airport. Malpensa and even Bergamo are just up the motorway and there are simple coach connections. Why didn't you just go directly to Malpensa?

I often use Bergamon because the descent through the mountains can be spectacular in clear weather flying between peaks, although friends live a short walk down the road from Linate.

It seems the use it or lose it slot rules have changed. Operation "ground most of the fleet and whack up prices" can now get underway in earnest. Just in time for resumption of normal service as testing is scrapped. What a coincidence!
