Ed, you are amusing. I look media world wide. Nobody except Russia is claiming what you say. Not even Russian friendly nations. Russia has been absolutely humiliated and has regressed to medieval siege tactics. The UK alone could finish off the army and have total air superiority within a week. Russia has nothing and the west should not be afraid. As for the nukes, based on what we have seen so far there is a high probability the fissile material has never been replaced since the cold war and no uncontrolled reaction could occur, they will be dirty duds.

My guess is that other players in Russia will remove Putin to protect the critical income from natural resources. Again, playing devil's advocate, where has ANY flight been defined as an 'evacuation' flight? There is a big difference between a normal scheduled flight selling tickets on a first come first served basis using the same pricing algorithm as normal, and a flight commissioned to move a classified set of people along evacuation routes.

It is easy to make these kind of claims, bu they must be backed up wit real facts or else you end up with people believing all sorts of nonsense, like climate change.

This is a great flag waving piece for the climate change police. Compare the manner of identifying and suppressing people trying to raise concerns and questions to the kind of state suppression you see currently in Russia. The whole of the climate change coverage has been like this for several decades. Intense scrutiny of individuals to ensure the never make it to air, organised ostracizing rather than free speech and open debate, and a total suppression on a level of the worst autocratic regimes. This is a real suppression, oppression, here and now.
