I was 11.5% recovered at last cash count before new buys. Slow progress over last week tanks to very slow lack luster IAG. Target is 5% for profit taking, so looking for 151 as my next target for IAG. Should be very doable if there is an announcement re pre flight test being removed to US.

I'm just looking at graphs relative to Feb 24th, and how far certain shares have recovered from their low point post war.

Anyway, decided on a mixed bag so back in with Easy, Wizz and IAG. Wizz has no duty by the way.

Thinking Wizz is going to ave a good range to make up, most of the sector is already close to the pre war range. Split between IAG and Wizz? IAG to get a sike rom US removing pre flight tests, but no sign yet of response to industry letter to Biden.

Just a footnote to what I was pointing out the other day re EU/Russian closeness. What the state of affairs will be in 6 months is hard to say but France, Germany have been used outright by Putin. Publicly they have quickly distanced from Russia, but as for the secretive soviet EU commission, I wouldn't be surprised to learn they were assisting Russia with weapons movement information, routing supplies to Russia around sanctions and facilitating sanction busting through Africa and Latin america. All to come out in the wash, a very dirty wash too. Remember and never forget, those you see as the elected leaders of EU nations are nothing more than the executive arm of the unelected EU commission who rule the people as autocrats. There is no democratic accountability of the commision and they may align with Russia with no opposition as they have done so to date. Putin turning aggressive westward might change the policy, but I doubt not much given the depth of socialist ties and autocratic ideologies.

Is this the story, return to full schedule being slowed? however, is this just B or a sector thing? Pre flight tests and trying to control a virus are still hot policies even in the US. Whilst somebody is profiting from this testing [money and/or academic], it will remain and travel will continue to be hit. Airlines have noticed even wearing a mask is enough to put people off flying. We need a complete global role back of all covid policies and stop pandering to the various busy body lobbies trying to hold on to the powers to influence covid gave them. I warned about this a lot. It really is time for governments to get a grip and that should start with the US

The Obama deal with Iran was a diplomatic wishful thinking deal. Alternative historical trajectory is Trump didn't intervene and Iran has already nuked Israel. One only needs to examine the anger in at the EU commission, especially France, to know something is amiss with the deal. Then, follow French oil money in Iraq and Iran as they played both countries against each other whilst coining it from both at the same time.
