And you forget about layers and layers of interceptor missiles all around UK shores and all over Europe. Even if a warhead got through, they are very vulnerable during descent as they have to descend at a rate that does not result in any critical pressure differential internally compared to atmosphere. Tactical nukes like shells don't have that issue as they detonate at ground level, which reduces a large part of their effectiveness evn on an open flat field. There is simply no way Russia could get a tactical nuke to the UK. Not even the infamous briefcase nukes.
