Europe is currently withholding funds to Poland trying to bring them inline with German appeasement policy and there is still even no significant resistance from central europe to assisting Ukraine. You are so far off the mark thinking the EU is leading the fightback, that is truly laughable.

When this war is over, there is going to be some serious reckoning over the behaviour of the commission and especially Germany who is actually being defined as an ally of Russia in some places.
