A long ton is 1.016 times a metric tonne, so need clarification of which ton(ne) is being used to get exact number of barrels, if you are being pedantic.

However, shedloads of oil should cover it for most.

HUR obviously want to keep all information until the CMD but in my opinion they have missed a trick yet again on the PR front. They need to use every little opportunity to give the SP some momentum but singularly fail to do this on many an occasion.

Putting a figure on the size of the offload wouldn't have given too much away or detracted from the CMD but it would have provided a nice boost to sentiment today. A decent offload shows the EPS is performing well.

HUR have excelled in delivering their plan but unfortunately tend to underperform on the PR front.

Just a reminder of Amaja's post yesterday and that all the information he supplied from the AM's stay at Rotterdam proved to be correct.

"I just talked to the operator of the Amundsen Spirit and I can share the following information with you: ETA: the vessel is due in Rotterdam on 20 June 2019 at 15.00 hrs (you can check the Vopak website yourself). Place: TEAM Terminal Rotterdam - Jetty 2 (one of the largest oil terminals). CARGO VOLUME: 350.000 bbls (as per operator)

I'm 100% satisfied that DST is taking place. Obviously it's not "official" but you know that. Up to you if you run with it or not......

My take on it FWIW.

Lancaster EPS performing well over expectations. There's now enough good inside info saying that this is the case backed up by today's 350k barrel offload.

Warwick Deep has progressed to DST (an expensive and time consuming process) which tells you that the early results of the drill are good. Otherwise it would have P&A'd after they hit TD.

Nothing much to do with oil today as the PoO is lacking volume and direction.

IMHO there is a lot of money waiting on the sidelines (the lot that cashed in at the recent 64p spike for starters) for confirmation of a good result at WD and the Lancaster EPS results at the CMD.

That's all the near term risk out of the way and hopefully sets the path for a steady trend upwards as the other drills come in and flow rates from Lancaster are increased and more data is made available.

Great detective work Amaja. I remember the excellent info and photos you shared with us when the AM was in Rotterdam all those months ago.

I've posted this before but just to clarify that the tanker hook up pre FOIL was a dry run and no oil was offloaded.

We were told this when they bought up a slide showing the tanker linked up to the AM at the AGM.

Maybe they took some "slops" I don't know as nobody asked for any further clarification.

If I remember rightly the tanker went back to somewhere that would take this type of cargo but would definitely be no good for offloading oil. I can't be bothered to go back and check the destination after the AM, perhaps others can remember. Invergordon possibly ?

Hopefully we will get an RNS for first tanker offload. Failing that a tweet but would hope HUR IR make the most of every positive news event or they are missing a trick.

AS was specifically talking about HUR's plan for the future development of GWA and GLA at the time.

I can assure you 100% that he was not referring to interrupted production.

In any case, why would a Director even mention something that may or may not even happen during an AGM. Especially something negative like that. Makes no sense.

Anyway, you really needed to be there....

Perhaps I should add that AS said this in front of everybody at the AGM.

In fact he used the phrase "interrupted" in this context twice, while talking about HUR following their stated plan to the letter, as they have steadfastly done to date.

So, follow the plan and if successful the SP will go up.

If not "interrupted" then choose you will need to choose your own exit.

If "interrupted" with a TO, then your exit route will be decided for you.

Either way, it's quids in.
