I'm not sure how you've got to that figure TL, the warrants are free attached to the shares aren't they? They don't raise the company any extra capital?

So I guess they've p1ssed off their current 2 brokers with this move? Plenty of questions spring to mind e.g why only 750k, why has the CFO not taken any, why have you used yet another new broker..

Done at 12p with David and Shavit taking a decent chunk. Only 6.5 million shares though, I thought they'd need more money than that.

01234 I had no intention of knocking Ethernity with my comment or trying to talk it down - it's done a perfectly good job of that on its own! It's more out of sheer frustration that I'm quite heavily down on a company I've got a large (for me) investment in. It checks so many boxes but has been a terrible investment so far, so much so that I'm not allowing myself to buy more until their financing for the next year is sorted.

TL I also think this has a high chance of hitting the teens again.. I'm not aware of any contracts that were being negotiated so anything material could be a few months off.

Whereas in fact commercial real estate in the 'golden triangle' around Oxford is on a par with much of London. You have no idea where in London they are relocating, or whether it's going to be 'plush'. With large companies looking to sublet large amounts of space there will be some good opportunities arising and no need to cost the earth.

Yes I fully expected them to attach their pricing structure to the RNS but for some reason they didn't. Have you taken a position in ETX yet or are you just going to come and keep coughing up fur balls?

Oh yes those non revenue deals .. like the most recent Galapagos one with the upfront and milestone payments.

I wasn't adamant there wouldn't be one at all, my main issue was that you were repeating the same point over and over on a share that you've not even got a position on. I distinctly remember saying 'so what?' to the possibility of a placing .. the money will be used to grow the company at what could be an inflection point in the company's history. I've already taken decent money out of this but still hold because I believe that the business has an exciting future. I'm sure you'll be the little sour puss in the background along the way..

Paulcon it sounds like you applied your own logic to a valuation which I agree had become stretched up at that level. Butd's persistent bleating that ETX was a sell from upwards of about 6 or 7p would have cost anyone listening a large percentage gain.. 'predicting' a placing on an AIM biotech is hardly a great feat of prescience in this day and age.

Oh I missed that review - was it released on their website? Agreed the SP is in a sorry state .. AIM is truly unforgiving when it knows a company is low on cash. Sadly I can't see much improvement until they've got it sorted.

I know China is a very big market but I'm also really keen for this Tieto deal to reap rewards. The Chinese don't exactly have a great track record for respecting IP rights and in the back of my mind I think that as soon as they get their hands on the Ethernity kit they'll be hard at work copying it.. Let's hope David and co have some robust legal representation if that happens!

Well let's hope many take this up quickly, because at the moment I'm struggling to think of what near-term news we might get. If they aren't going to be doing bespoke stuff then we will need news of sales numbers and progress with the likes of Fiberhome and Tieto. We could be in for a bit of a news drought here..!

Ok that's what I understood it to mean. Those contracts I guess could be called be the 'salt on the salad' as Elon Musk likes to say .. nice upfront payments and revenues but not the core strategy of the business. The real meat of revenues will be in the mass deployment of the NICs and rollout of 5g networks in the coming 12/18 months.
