I remember ages ago the fund that took over City Financial's position sold in one huge lump to WINS and it cratered the price. Nice one dallo, great to see. This is still a buy .. any talk of what 5g are up to is pure speculation and should be taken as such by anyone reading this. They are an opaque Delaware listed fund and while it's fun to assume some kind of interesting back story of a link to Ethernity it's just a bunch of blokes (and ladies) letting their imaginations get the better of them.

A month old but very interesting to see these gaining traction. I've never heard of ASOCS the Israeli provider of the RAN software but it's still encouraging to see Israel at the forefront again. It's quite a close knit industry I wonder if the guys at Ethernity know them.

Well not all companies are one trick ponies but yes I agree, investing has inherent risks and early stage pharma and junior oilies are quite similar in that offer potentially outsized rewards if it goes their way. Just a case of picking a few and hoping one of them hits big. Some fantastic stories last year of companies 10 and 20 bagging, it's a lot more down to luck than judgement I'd say

Yeah Directors Talk is a kind of Proactive style site I think, I'm not hugely familiar either. Only reaon I noticed is because i checked the ENET hashtag on twitter and saw the article. If it asterisks out the link replace it with directors talk without the space. I guess we may get an interview with David or Brian but it's good to see them raising their profile with stuff like this.

Hi uhlf yes I've always been with RB and much prefer the old school interaction with a broker (I think probably because I used to be a voice broker myself). The extra dealing cost is worth it and it prevents me trading too much which is most of the time a good thing. Find a few companies you like and hold them is my preferred strategy..

Any positive news in Q1 and this is off to the races in my opinion. Plenty of new money in here and hopefully even more with the new Directors Talk coverage they seem to have initiated.

Well precisely. HL isn't my 'proper' broker I just use that for my kids ISAs, my main broker is Redmayne Bentley which is all done on the phone anyway. I just did another dummy sell on HL and they have opened up again you can now sell at 35 should you so desire.

No it's definitely weaker this morning - can't sell on HL either.

I will add my two penneth .. I really agree with dallo on this one as it it's 100% down to the shareholder to notify and Mark having an opinion is not some kind of regulatory offence. It's purely speculation by us that 5g fund's movements are well known to to the company and in my dealings with Mark I have always been impressed by how strictly he adheres to the rules. These guys are really putting in the hours making this company a leader in the industry.. they are a listed company and people buy and sell shares for many reasons. If you remember Miton only corrected their holdings percentage after about a year .. that's not Mark's fault - he notified the market as soon as he received the updated form.

Cheers dallo I was also of the impression they were well into notification territory. Excellent day here although slightly inflated by the dodgy auction print last night that meant it was up 4% at the open.

Ok I'll have to re-do my sums then as I thought they would have gone over 3%
