Clued, dear fellow, you've been here long enough to know that you should take everything bank analysts say with a pinch of salt. Same applies to fleccy - a well-intentioned chap by all accounts. You are mis-informed My Lovely. Various attorney generals in the States are mounting legal challenges. And, while the deal has been approved in Australia, the CMA in the UK is looking into it. Oh dear, yet more uncertainty for BT shareholders. The share that consistently takes more than it gives, with a mindless, untalented, vision-less and overpaid BoD in the driving seat Roll on the bid.

Every single decision this government makes is wrong. By apparently disallowing the Bharti bid, they are condemning BT to a sliding (down) share price. Advice to Carrington: Don't add any more yet, old chap. Long way down to go before I'd advise that. LOL

Pip, that's the problem with life these days. No one knows what to believe about anything, least of all the BT share movement. My earnest wish is for the BT share price to increase. However, my gut instinct tells me it's not going to - without a bid. Other's make their own predictions, typically 10 years hence. The facts speak for themselves. Have a good day Pippin.
