Then sell off Openreach (complete with what's left of the engineering workforce and pension obligations) to become part of a consortium serving the nation. What's not to like? BT becomes free to thrive. And I'm going to live in the Chagos Islands. Revenue is falling off expat because the great unwashed British public is relying more and more on alternative communications platforms than fixed fibre.
