Wish I had more money to lower my average, which stands at 16p!! So long way to go but this has suddenly changed direction. Bought more at 6p thinking that was the pits but hard to pick the bottom. Also all the doomsayers gone! That says a lot.

Looking forward to the next month as results and sentiment changes, just wish I had more money!! Also some of the repetitive, boring doom mongers will disappear!

Well Tiburn, there lies my/our hope that this field is massive and will bring a good return ONE DAY! Having never been in a negotiating position I can only wonder what 'cat and mouse' game they play as positions are adjusted and change with what information they have at hand and any new info that emerges. I can imagine Art wanting and fighting for a position in this JV adventure and who can blame him, but just a few snippets of news would allay fears and doubts. I also assume that such a big find (we are told!) takes a lot of discussions but do wonder why he went to one company that approached him, when, if it was so good, why not tell the world and invite others to join the game? Nothing like a bit of competition especially on home ground. But there must good reasons for this but we will never know!

It does make one wonder if the JV is going ahead with the time lapse, coupled with the crazy 1000-1 consolidation. Never mind a transfer to the USA (albeit that seems an almost sensible option).

So will he need to money raise due to the JV falling through to proceed in the near future? Ors the 1000-1 consolidation a threat to the JV company that he can continue alone for a while and look for other suitors?

The unknown and uncertainty is causing the drop, no clarity and the market doesn't like it, neither do I !!!

However, what is known production will increase, pipe laying is ongoing and we seem to believe there is loads of oil, so w hang on with nails bitten to the core, for a turnaround and good news in the near future.

But Art could help by doing an interview - no hang on that wouldn't help, his daughter doing an interview. Well someone giving us some positivity.

I also think the lack of any updates is so unsettling. You can't tell me it is all under a NDA. Nothing has been said, however vague, to settle the share price or convince us we are going in the right direction.

I have been in this with Nigeria being the hope and expectation. It always seems to be manana, and I would love to see this a success. It should be with what we believe and told is there but we have such poor communication; need something to create some optimism, rather than some soundbite or chair falling moment.

For what it's worth, there has to be credence in a JV and the omerta for the last few months. Wasn't there something mentioned about the Governor of Wyoming being at a meeting when some approval was given? I can't be bothered to look back, but it inferred there was a lot of interest in what Copl had discovered. Since the buyout of Atomic and the realisation of what was discovered. there has been silence. That has to be for a reason, otherwise there should have been shouting from the roof tops. I feel we must be very close to finding out. I think it will be good, I pray it will be good, and the long wait will be over and a flow of good news could descend!

Ona serious note, I cannot believe this won't be a winner in the next 12 months, it has so much going for it, which has all been stated by others. In fact, I can't believe majors haven't sniffed around more with the oil prices, OIP, on land USA etc etc.
The only way this can go t**s up for shareholders is the financial mess we seem to be in and the lenders sweeping up the shares at our expense, if they gain too much a percentage. Surely even AM wouldn't let that happen? Would he?

I think I am holding Copl shares for 3-5 years, actually following the Michael Gentile plan. I'm not interested in short term fluctuations and am looking for a multi bagger. Gently gentile does it and then a 30 bagger!! Crikey guys genius, arguing but all on the same wave length!
