Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I was skiing in Seefeld, Austria a few years ago. My family and I went to a restaurant outside the town, run by an ex weightlifter. Free schnapps on arrival and a room full of Football shirts covering the room; as well as many stuffed animals. A bizarre place! There was a group of 10-15 Austrians sitting after a meal, drinking and chatting. Suddenly they sprang up out of their seats and started singing 'Alice, Alice who the fu.. is Alice' Hilarious, had to explain to my 2 young kids that it was just a British song, that was catchy!!
Another sh**te investment! Absolutely agree close it down. Lost £10,000 but hey ho, win some lose some.
Well I wrote off my shares in this company ages ago. Am now going to use up any money on my card and send it back. Enough is enough think everyone should do the same and just maybe CP will realise that we are all disgruntled. I imagine most who have cards are/were shareholders?!
Well I feel very confident as I think Art thinks big and wants to prove himself, after his 'bad luck' a few years back, and I think he has played a blinder this time, whilst managing to keep the lights on! He says with fingers crossed!
Interesting reading comments, I have a lot invested here but rarely comment as most people better researched than me! My only hope if consolidation comes sooner rather than later is that good news follows soon after to carry the price onwards and upwards. I agree consolidation usually sees the shareholder worse off but surely Art, with his little war chest, must have something up his sleeve whether it be increasing ownership of our new asset or elsewhere? Also if Nigeria ever happens then any consolidation will be short term collateral damage?
Interesting to read the predictions, I would be happy with 1.5+ opening as Art also mentioned the possibility of dividends in the not too distant future, he must have other things up his sleeve and be quite confident to say so. It will be a hold for me whatever it opens at until 2022 and see what comes! Especially with Nigeria still in the background and the possibility of a new acquisition and/or buying out others involved in Wyoming. So only way should be up!!
I rarely post but I have to say how sorry I am for your loss Pepsicle; no father expects to bury their son, all our worst nightmare.
I hope you can hang on to the good memories and learn to cope with the heartbreak. You will learn to cope but the loss will stay for ever. Stay strong and I hope you have good support. Talk, talk and talk but don't bottle it up. There are people out there who will listen.
HL haven't contacted me to say my portfolio could be too risky. Going to write and complain - Going to tell them it is too risky cos their service is so poor that they increase the risk with lack of liquidity when want to buy and sell.
I certainly agree with you re OPL226. I wonder there is some skulduggery going on waiting for Nigeria. As COPL has been financially strapped has this led to a slow move by one/ both of our partners, hoping to get their hands on our % of OPL226 at a cheap price. A little like we have picked up Atomic.
If/when Atomic goes through we are a producer (we are now with 15%)and in a great financial position. I wouldn't be surprised to see 226 go through reasonably quickly as the tide has turned.
If Atomic and 226 go through the company and share price will be transformational. So AM will have done a great job keeping the lights on. We as small time shareholders don't know what goes on behind the scenes, lots of speculation and quite a lot of personal attacks on AM (which I've never understood) yet he could have played a blinder!
It was only tongue in cheek Caw Caw! I enjoy your analysing and interpretation - me thinks you could understand Shakespeare better than I ever could
' is this an acquisition I see before me, the handle before my hand. Come let me clutch thee, I have thee not, and yet I see thee still' Macbeth or Millholland? Let's hope it is in his clutch!!
Those 2 big buys today disagree with you Caw Caw or they can't read?!
The perfect storm.
Reuters - Hedge funds bet on oil's 'big comeback' after pandemic hobbles producers
I try the buy and sell button on H&L to see what price is offered as the buy and sell price are not accurate or live as suggested on their website! Also do it to see if what people post is accurate!!
H&L is absolutely sh**e! Gone downhill quicker than Eddie the Eagle
A very convincing argument in that the $3m in shares offer of COPL could be multiples of 0.25 in x amount of months, hence agreeing to the sale. Just maybe the Nigerian asset was dangled in front of his eyes and told we will be at x pennies this time next year Rodney!!
Well let's hope so, been in this a long time, it would be nice to be on the right side of a good share price increase. Personally I am very confident of this Atomic deal and 2 weeks is not far away in the scheme of things.

Yep!! Nigeria is in a financial mess and needs the oil but PIB holding it up and guess govt. needs to pull its finger out and face up to responsibilities and get it sorted in Parliament! Think they need advice on how to tackle big projects from EU!!!!

So there seems to be a hold up at govt level - so we wait!!
I have to say Bladderman, I never felt so confident as I have since the latest announcement. A few weeks time, as you say, it will be very different! I am going back to just reading the comments rather than messaging, it's not my cup of tea!! Good luck to all invested.
