Wonder if dilution is coming?

Art overstretched himself years ago and what happened? Was/is he so intent to prove himself and others that he can mix with the big boys, that he has done the same again? Why did he give himself a big salary - did he believe he had cracked it or was he paying himself for failure?

I imagine most of us are in the same boat. I'm 33k down and also not sure whether to sell with a 90% loss or hold in the dream it will turn around - history tells me it won't. Averaged down to 8p from 30+p, always believing, even after Nigeria thought this had turned a corner. Believed Arts Jackanory stories!

At this stage of negotiations surely they would discussing more than

'how much oil have we got?'

'We have millions of gallons in an oil rich US state'

'I don't believe you Art, the RS report is a fabrication of your making"

' Why would I lie to you at this late stage? you've had the details for months'

'Because you've lied in the past, its all off including the 10p a share offer'

'Well b...er off as its worth a £1.00 a share, we will offer to ALL the others lining up'

It's easy this negotiating lark.

I cannot believe the Ryder Scott report being anything but accurate; otherwise would AM have been able to persuade Bondholders to lend the money. Similarly, the JV has been ongoing for a long time, surely they would have realised things weren't right much earlier?

For what it's worth, i think the offer was too low, but perhaps realistic due to share price, and hence offer withdrawn. Copl might prefer an open market and hope for a better offer from other interested parties. Well, that's what I hope. Will know soon enough if TR1s show! One can but dream!!

Guess as we approach the New Year, more and more chatter will take place; it, hopefully, will be the turning point! Should be a news rich period, which ever way it goes!!

One thing we do know is the JV is ongoing as there has been no RNS to say it is off! That is reassuring at this late stage of negotiations. So quietly optimistic. Roll on Xmas and the New Year!

Love the way the naysayers come on and try and trash any good sentiment! Don't panic Captain Mannering!! Love to see good news just to see them disappear.

Albeit, it would be kinda good news for all the good people with an investment, as opposed to those who pretend.

I take your point, but the next set of figures should see an upward improvement and hopefully sentiment will improve. Also think if that happens then investors might at last look forward to further progress. At the moment, we are priced in to fail, so hopefully a month on, we will see some reversal which might lead to share price improvement. I'm ever the optimist, but maybe a little impatient!

Well those who are damning this RNS, need to think, would they prefer AM's RNS which were so overly optimistic and now in hindsight overly confident (some might use stronger language) or this ,what seems to be a measured RNS, spelling out clearly without the over expectations. Personally I prefer the latter and think we are now on the right path and will see turn around by Xmas and certainly in the New Year.

What stands out for me is the 4th Paragraph where it reads 'Anavio have agreed... to a possible reduction of the make whole amount payment under each of its 2027 and 2028 existing bonds providing a satisfactory joint Venture agreement is entered into by the company....,hence reducing potential dilution.'

I just hope AM actually does something for us and gets a good JV. Any reduction in dilution would be so so welcome.

The story has been compelling for a long time now, but hopefully over the next few months it will unfold in shareholders favour. But, certainly testing my patience, never mind my wallet!

I can't believe this will fail and think I will get my money back at least, but for all the pain and worry was it worth it? How much we will make is anyones guess or how long to wait? The New Year i see as the turning point but hope Oct and Nov figures will show steady improvements.

Think the negative comments today have disappeared, does that mean we are at the bottom and no more trying to short? Who knows who cares.

There is one other scenario if no JV by January, the negotiations are off and other large oilers can be invited to make an offer, as it appeared this company was their best choice, inferring others were interested. Can't see negotiations failing after all this time but ....

Just surprised its not reflected in the share price! But something has changed as conversation is factual and not ramping or deramping! Maybe facts speak for themselves.
