I agree, to some extent, LTI, especially about you’ve been tango’d man. I would just add that although the debt pile is large, I don’t see or hear anyone of the holders clamouring for their money. They must clearly be happy that 1. Carnival have sufficient assets to cover it (which they do) and 2. Carnival are, as they say, good for the repayment and interest.

The SP is unpredictably unpredictable. There are some who day-trade it but most on here seem to be in for the long haul. It was doing fine until the big orange one started fooling around. He just adds one more layer of uncertainty.

2026 is Carnival’s own target date for achieving investment grade status which would mean the return of dividends etc.

Sorry not to be more optimistic.

PS I am aware that SP’s can drop on or shortly after X/d date but that seems not to happen with bigger companies as they have the divi covered 2 or more times over.

Dropping back - again - after NYSE opened. There are so many factors and variables at play now that, like Bot, I may well get out from under depending on what the results produce. My average is £7.95 so I cannot complain.

Looking for income, really, so stocks like Phoenix Group, L & G etc look attractive.

Topo, our bank a/c comes with travel insurance and access to a concierge/travel agent where we 5% off all cruises plus some extra OBC. These alone more than cover the monthly fee! Runs only til I am 80 though - another 4+ years.
