On a totally different topic, but with a related mindset, when I was last there I had the utmost difficulty in getting a small group to understand that carrying any kind of firearm or bladed weapon is illegal in he UK. Most common question, “Don’t you feel unsafe?”

Well, just before NYSE opens, we have gained double what Bot suggested. BUT, it is Friday, so some selling might happen if it follows the usual pattern. I hope I am disappointed!

I’m at £7.95. Not sure if I have a sell-out price, I was waiting for dividend resumption around 2026. Any price hike in the meantime is a bonus.

NWG has quietly snuck up on the inside. I bought in at £2.75 and promptly got dunked but am hanging in there at around £4.20. Divi should be declared soon.

PS whilst I might look enviously on at RCL’s performance, my HL account won’t allow me to buy their shares as they are not listed on LSE, unless I’m prepared to pay some huge extra fees………which I ain’t!

I agree, LTI. I think it’s the volatility that astounds, bearing in mind the number of shares in issue. Having said that, I suspect that trading volumes are not relatively large.
