How is the company buying shares on the open market ever be dilution when the number of shares in issue doesn't change. I can't see anywhere where a placing has been used specifically to provide shares to the EBT. But I can see lots of RNS stating shares bought on the open market.

Wrt southcoast he seems to be unaware that PLT US revenue switched to Boo as part of the USDC opening. Atleast you seem aware of that simple fact. Although it's a shame you wish to ascribe something negative to a perfectly simple cost and revenue allocation.

The average sp discount on a placing seems to be about 30% at the moment.

So to raise at the current sp, with warrants significantly above, does seem to be some achievement and a good sign for the business.

I've only got a relatively small number of shares here, and now back in profit, but more than happy to hold for the medium term and see where this goes

Shorters algo trading isn't imarket manipulation, atleast not under the current rules. It's just what they do. Who else can or would time multiple algo trades in the manner we saw this morning, causing a significant sp fall which has now largely reversed.

Less than 300k shares have been released in exactly the same way they are every year Hexam, as you are aware.

More than 8m shares have been issued from the EBT, which buys shares on the open market.

It's strange that you haven't yet pointed Bon Scott in the correct direction.
