Despite their direst predictions being proven to be complete nonsense and multiple director buys confounding their conspiracy theories.

Hexam you may feel that the business is distressed, the directors clearly don't or they wouldn't be buying.

These buys are significant, especially in the context of their remuneration.

They aren't execs earning millions a year from Debs

Still, just keep commenting on anything positive and ignore the negative twaddle because that fits the narrative

Today's buy certainly gives far more confidence in the medium term future of the business.

As I said Hexam I don't recall the non execs investing in the last couple of years, which is all I can comment on.

We will only know in two or three years time if today's investment has been a good one.

What we can definitely say is that it is good news that non execs have chosen to invest their own money on top of the shares they are paid.

They clearly don't see the impending doom that is posted here daily, much as the usual suspects are trying to twist their plots.

People invest on the expectation of making money over the medium term.

The non execs, who don't get paid a fortune, have invested significant sums because they believe in the business turnaround.

It speaks volumes about this board that supposed "investors" are trying to pitch a piece of good news as part of some sinister plot that couldn't even happen

The simple fact is the non execs have invested because they see a good investment opportunity and not a short term administration, however unpalatable that is to most posters on here

Investors buy for the medium term on a basket of reasons. They don't have a crystal ball. Even Buffett expects his holdings to fall sometimes

What the non exec buys say is that they believe in the medium term future of the business.

The FY25 annual report states that he held the shares at the end of FY24.

The previous annual reports don't seem to break down directors share holdings so it's impossible to check back any further.

It may be he owned the shares before joining the board and the amount isn't disclosable technically

It wouldn't be on 2021 as he didn't become a director until 2022.

Lloyd per Yahoo finance he disclosed ownership of 29.8m shares in his annual return in March.

So he has owned them since atleast then.
