The latest GMV data for Debenhams as a whole is nearly £700m. There is no breakdown between labels and market place but Finley stated the vast majority of revenue comes from market place

Employee numbers in 2023 based on all Debenhams brands 115

Employee numbers in 2024 based on market place solely 24

So the employee numbers changed as part of reporting solely on market place activity. Not as any attempt to fudge a profit figure.

The 2023 numbers, as explained in the accounts, are for all Debenhams brands. The 2024 numbers are just for the market place business . Hence the reduction in staff numbers
