Seems we have a wide range of opinions on tonight's presentation, FWIW I have listed my thoughts in no particular order:-
1) Cliff certainly managed to communicate the breadth of Scancell's preclinical pipeline - pretty impressive by anyone's standards.
2) One of the frustrations here has been that the pipeline gets wider and wider but taking it forwards into the clinic takes far too long. They clearly get it and am very happy to see strategy now very much revolves around improving translation of the science into clinical trials. The new Oxford labs are tangible evidence that they are serious about clearing the roadblocks that seem to occur once a product has been handed over by Lindy Durrant's team.
3) We didn't get hard facts/dates about Covidity but it could be they're just not in a position to do so yet, they may be awaiting clinical trial approval, sign off from Nottingham of the delivery system - could be any number of reasons. However, if they expect to report results this year then it can't be too far away at all.
4) Very personal opinion here but I didn't like the format and don't think it particularly suited Cliff's presenting style. IMO the Proactive events presented by Sarah Lowther are much better.
5) Most here are so well researched that you're never going to learn something new from a short investor presentation and with that in mind, I think expectations were too high.
