Yes, imagine if this were a small drug developing bio with a fully funded phase III clinical trial up and running and due to report in a few months. Then assume that they also had partnerships with 3 major pharmaceutical companies - perhaps Pfizer, J&J and Bristol-Myers, investors would have piled in and the SP would be flying. Think the potential isn't as obvious with diagnostic/medical device companies unless you bother to spend the time doing some decent research but Angle have reached the equivalent of that stage within its sector.

Dibs, as primary completion date is scheduled for June, I assume recruitment will be very quick. As far as I know, the trial can commence as soon as the first patient consents, they don't have to wait until all patients have been recruited. Really looking forward to seeing how the trial goes and if successful what an achievement this will be for an AIM bio:- "ANGLE is seeking to become the first company ever to receive FDA clearance for a medical device to harvest cancer cells from patient blood for subsequent analysis. "

Breast cancer trial has now appeared on the Clinical Trials Register. Start date is Feb, so any day now and primary completion date is June. It's the sort of RNS that needs time (and possibly further research) to sink in. Abbott have around 70,000 employees and a market cap of $102 BILLION and have partnered with Angle for their breast cancer trial. They have first option to license Parsortix for testing for HER2 status - a test that is routinely performed on every single breast cancer patient. Abbott will have completed due diligence and fully evaluated Parsortix before entering into the agreement, as would Qiagen and Philips. So Angle now have partnerships with 3 giants in the diagnostics field - at some stage that should sink in!

Yes really good to see that Redx now have their first product in the clinic, trial underway and first patient dosed. Not long to wait for results for initial dose escalation and safety study either - H2.

I hope AN does some media around today's RNS because I'm not sure the message comes across fully in the RNS. HER2 is simply a protein found on the surface of breast cancer cells and it is the target for the drug Herceptin. Every single patient is tested for HER2 status when they are initially diagnosed. Furthermore if the cancer has spread to other organs, the secondary cancers must also be tested. If they are cleared by treatment but the cancer returns then they must be tested again. It's not hard to imagine the benefits to the patient and healthcare systems if that test could be done via liquid biopsy. Nor is it hard to imagine the size of the potential market for any diagnostics. Really excellent news.

They were sold in an orderly way and with over 15m shares he still holds just under 34% of the Company. I'm not sure that I have any issue at all with him selling some stock and taking some profit. He has built the company from scratch, seen it through a successful IPO and every year since has delivered strong growth in revenue and contracts secured. The latest trading statement suggests that this has been yet another year of solid growth. It's the CEO's who cash in while their companies are underperforming that I have an issue with! Good to see Chairman Peter George making a substantial purchase - just under �1m, not to be sneezed at!

AFAIK Stirling Green became Fastnet Oil & Gas via a reverse takeover and Fastnet in turn became Amryt, again via reverse takeover.

Yes, have a small position here. Haven't researched as thoroughly as I should so am in the middle of that now, after which I may well increase my holding. I was initially attracted by the phase III trial for EB, a truly dreadful disease. The trial is due for an interim review when 50% of patients have been recruited and then has a primary completion date of Sep 2018 so some significant milestones to come this year. I like that the risk with the EB trial is balanced by the fact that Amryt have licensed in a product (Lojuxta) which already has marketing approval. They have recently signed distribution agreements covering Saudi, Switzerland and several central and eastern European countries and so will be generating revenue. Lojuxta is for a rare disease HoFH so numbers will be small but cost of treatment is high (I believe over �200k per annum per patient). Hope that helps as a starting point but feel free to ask if you have any questions. There are some decent bio investors here who know Amryt much better than me so I'm sure someone will be able to help. By the way, are you in AGL?
