Click on document dated 17th May:- 'Following examination of European patent application No....etc.,etc...................a European patent ..............................is hereby granted....' As previously posted, the grant will take effect when it appears in the EPO bulletin. Great post, possibly one of your best!! Having said that, would like to comment on a few points:- 1) The ShareSoc event was aimed at retail investors and I believe the audience at Proactive events largely consists of PI's too, but whether they're PI's or II's, I'm not sure why you assume they won't get the science. Most regulars on this bb get the science so I'm not sure why audiences at these investor events should be any different. 2) Scancell have to be very careful when making comparisons with other drugs/companies - could so easily cross the line and be seen as hype. I agree that it would have been good to see a slide highlighting the advantages of SCLP tech. though ie. cost, safety etc. 3) Is it possible that you think listeners don't want to hear about the science because you already know all about it? If you put yourself into the shoes of someone who has never come across Scancell before then you might find it very interesting? One of the things that sets Scancell apart from many other bios (esp. virtual bios) is the credibility and weight of their science and research. I think CH got that message across loud and clear. 4) Perhaps the problem is that we expect far too much from these events?

If you click on the online programme planner tab and search, you'll see that Scancell are presenting 4 abstracts, including one on the new glycan mAbs

I know others disagree but from memory, in every bio (including this one) that I've been invested in, an RNS for a European Patent Grant is usually issued when it appears in the European Patent Bulletin. The EPO have updated the patent record to state "The patent has been granted" and the grant is scheduled to be published in the Bulletin of 13th June. Whether Scancell will issue an early RNS as it has been discussed on the bb's remains to be seen but under normal circumstances I think it would have been issued on or after the 13th June. Just to add to Jimbob's post, I'm struggling to understand your 'top heavy with directors' comment. Amryt only has 2 executive directors, the rest are all non-exec and there are only 4 of those including the Chairman! Hardly top heavy. No doubt that the exec directors, CEO Joe Wiley and CFO Rory Nealon are well rewarded for their efforts. Having said that, if you read the annual report, you'll see that an independent review carried out by AON into exec/non-exec salaries was commissioned by the Company. The Remuneration Committee have based their 2017/8 salaries on the recommendations in that report and are aiming at levels at 50th percentile of European companies covered. Seems fair enough. I'm sure that the Board will be strengthened further as the Company grows.

Krafty, Prior to the funding L&G were holding 16m shares (5.13%). TR1 issued today shows that their holding has dropped below 5% but of course, the number of shares in issue has increased. According to Scancell's website as at 9th May (date of transaction on TR1) their holding had increased to 18,167000. So they've increased their holding by just over 2.1m shares. Haven't done the maths but am pretty sure that's more than their OO entitlement. So they appear to have taken their entitlement and added more.

Agree, best to DYOR and wherever possible use official and reliable sources such as FDA - much better than an anonymous article in a German blog. Even if trial had been a resounding success, a 2018 product launch would be physically impossible. It's garbage as are half the claims on both IMM and FARN at the moment.
