Correct Paulscholes. TB’s published activity has been a real stinker for PI’s and not appealing at all.
The Paraytec thing has been just about to land for at least a year now. The next hope is Phasefocus for a payout….

I'm on the same strategy as Crawshaw - took a view on my doubled value today. Now have half the holding.
It's a red line for me when I see a doubling of value that I should sell half and then the rest feels like "free float".
Genuinely pleased for the LTH's who are finally feeling flush with this - more to come? definitely hope so, but prepared for ups and downs still.

I've taken the drop today as an opportunity to top up. Showing as a sell on here mind you, due to the advertised spread at the time I bought!

You've just explained what we already knew - Marie is invested... she's not a tough impartial hack asking the tough questions. She's setting up the patsies for Carl to nod home.

I have to admit I believe DP is correct here - Marie is set up to ask Carl the questions that BRH want him to answer.
There are a couple of framed twitter accounts that do the same for other companies I've invested in - you get familiar with the backstory if you're around long enough.

I understand it.
Another RNS that is "decent" without being "great" - mostly because yet again there are no numbers in the RNS.
Combine that with the patience people have to show here vs the length of time for material returns, then factor in TB's behaviour this year.
Even a LTH like me is just waiting to get out and getting fed up. Meanwhile the 2022 "shares to watch" blogs are coming out and you won't find BRH on any of them. If you did then this might give people like me an exit point.
Sorry if that's not the optimistic post you hoped for.

It is good to get any form of update - pleased at least to see something with a positive message.
It is still not the magic message we really want to see with the £££ on it - still patient for this to come.
Also against all the Paraytec excitement it is indeed Phasefocus where our next payout is likely to come from.

Dickpullar - Sadly I've read posts like yours week after week and month after month.
"Massive RNS is coming any day now".
I still hold and I still have to hope one day there's a payday so I can exit, but this has been a "jam tomorrow" story for ages and ages and ages. Do not hold your breath.
As so many have started to point out, there's loads of tests coming to market and technologies/solutions for COVID beating the Paraytec approach to the punch. This feels like it's going to be a day late and a dollar short.
It's other parts of BRH that may actually be the payers medium term.

I can't buy all the MM manipulation stories. There's a "risk off" appetite out there and although we may understand revenues and business models are still good here, lots of people will see "South Africa" and "Concert events" linked to LVCG and say no thanks. We'll need to be patient for the Omicron thing to blow over, then when the investors start to come back this will be a bigger recovery play.

We have to be patient - the whole market is sickly at the moment because of the Omicron misery and general inflation fears. makes no sense for these things to affect OBC directly, but "risk off" is part of the investors' mantra.
Wait till Omicron stabilises and people start coming back to the table.

It is clear from the share price history ( nearly 12 months now) that any attempt to get past 5p will attract a lot of trapped sellers.
Be patient, once the glut of people wanting to escape at that level have gone this will undergo a revaluation due to the very low M/C and low free float.

Quite right Bbrq. The enticing Paraytec journey is reeling in the optimists - but this road has been far too long and winding.
I still hold like others because I have to hope there will be another payday and I'm unhappy with the SP right now.
donotpanic - it is an investment company, true, and the one big divi we got a year ago was very welcome. I can only hope your optimism for another imminently is correct

Look at the block sells! That’s a real reason for the drop.

Chartism doesn’t work on a share manipulated by its own major shareholders.
TB had a big shareholding, paid a big dividend, enjoyed it, then sold. When a fund raise then came along at market bottom he bought back in at 18p.
Now selling is taking place again and the “good news” hasn’t come.
I repeat this company is not pharma, it’s an investment company which TB is making a lot of money from. PI’s not so much unless they guessed TB’s movements.
Still no product forthcoming and as a LTH I’ve had enough.

Why? What could drive that?

OBC have a net asset value of another £1.5m cash, so I make total NBV nearer 35p a share of that helps

This company is hugely underrated, but I expect it’ll bang its head on 5p for a little while as some trapped souls escape with their noses wiped from a long stretch of the SP being between 4-5p
Once they’ve gone the low free float could make this share a real find.
