Spookily we have now had just over 100k of buys and the spread has come back to 3/3.2.
I keep the faith - there's more news to come I think and it moves fast....

Just a quick note to say thanks for the heads up Mounteide. I only dipped a toe in back end of 2021 and swiftly got out again at break even after checking out your posts. I will learn to do more research on the back of that experience but at least you saved me from a loss.

Those of us who have been here for over a year have seen this pattern before Dick.
The closed issue was at 18p so the block seller is banking a moderate profit, and they are doing so because they believe its better than hanging on to their "golden tickets"
Starknight, Sharebel and the other evangelists are long gone.

Spot the 2 big block sales again this morning.... at this price that can only be the 18p closed rights issue being offloaded.
Why would somebody do that unless this represents the best return on that inmvestment. Doesn't bode well for the gamechanger COVID breakthrough "multibagger" theories :-(

PS - I'm not happy that the current price reflects the value BTW. We will see fast movement here either way because of the low market cap and the low free float.

I have just dummy buy/sell and got values close to that spread - the only trade I can find today was indeed at the midpoint of 2.95p
I suspect very low trading volume is causing the spread to move - it's an automated process.
If we see a buy of just 100,000 shares then the spread will return to 3/3.3

This was coming.... The increased stake over the last 6 months from the Israeli group was always going to see this happen.
OBC's nice share of AFN (nearly 17%) could be about to increase in value.

BRH is the holding investment company - the valuation of Phasefocus or Paraytec are independent to BRH share price.

Surely the purpose of a functioning MB is to discuss affairs around the share? I agree all the factless ramping and deramping is a bind, but at the same time we are allowed to/should be discussing the expectation of news, what the nature of that news is and what's happening with the share trades.
I can see that the price has tumbled since Xmas from 34p to 26p - that's a hell of a drop - driven by block sales day after day. That's worthy of note and discussion is it not?

And we agree.
I also expect an RNS in the next couple of months which will increase the SP - also a final dividend.
The difference is I don't want to be involved in this as soon as I get the 40p+ I'm hoping for I'm off.
I am very disappointed (angry) at the way this was manipulated in 2021 and don't want to be caught out again.

That's when I get grumpy. I invested because of engineering opportunities BRH were invested in which have since gone by the wayside. I held because of the big divvi and the false hope I had in the future for BRH.
I watched TB pay the special divi while he owned lots of shares, then sell up to bring the shareprice back down, then award himself a huge closed placing at 18p.
If BRH had held onto their cash and not paid the huge divvi then we wouldn't have needed the placing. That wouldn't have made TB so much money of course.....

Donotpanic - you are correct about COVID shares, but Braveheart is an investment company not a pharma company. The next news likely will be Phasefocus sale and special dividend. The Paraytec work has other uses too, and after 12 months of waiting for the breakthrough which still hasn't come on the COVID element I am entitled to ask questions.
I think too many have pinned false hope on a massive COVID multibagger here.
I hold because I think the Phasefocus revaluation and subsequent sale will get us back to 40p and the exit door for me.

Worth noting that the NT status happens every day for a small window in order to ensure the automated buy/sell hasn't gone out of kilter - it's not a hint of major movement.

I did the same just before Xmas - same size top up too!
I'm very much of the same mind on this one - the market cap is very small for the potential income - I guess it takes time for the masses to cotton on, but that's how you make money - get in early before the herd.

I can forgive positive posting Halma - I do it myself when I have conviction on a share, but I try to keep it factual and am always open to a reasoned argument both ways.
The challenge I have is when it becomes hocus pocus (MM conspiracies) and blind ramping (this will end up BLUE!!) out of a desperation to see our investment go up.
I do believe these posters are holders and we all want the same thing - the difference is the rationality and reason behind our targets. I have been honest for 12 months - I want this past 40p so I can get out.
