AP has the ability to say nothing at all then say something that does more damage than good. I agree he's brought stuff to the table pre-AP VAST couldn't have imagined but he tarnished with the BS RNS about the missed signing

Such a shame, I've been openly critical of VAST depsite holding it a number of times, as with most AIM companies, if they can't give out good PR and RNS updates the SP just slides back after each update. Radio silence and terrible markets is the real killer here.

Exactly my point, if it is delayed, many would consider delayed equipment for the main production mine to be price sensitive and should be announced to the market

Yeah they've had the funds 3 weeks but the equipment has meant to have been arriving the last 2 months, not even a tweet to showcase their new equipment arriving. How do we even know if it has arrived or if it is delayed? How is the cold commissioning coming along, are we hitting the expected TPM? Lots of questions that could be answered by a company clearly straining to hold any sort of resistance bottom on its share price.

There doesn't need to be a concerted effort to lower the SP, it does it on its own as everyday that goes by with no update from the company

I agree this SP seems to be base camp till next lot of news, i cant see it going below .25, would like it to be a bit higher before the zim news though if im honest. Next weeks meeting will hopefully provide something of substance in where we are at for the zim deal, in terms of BP im taking no news as good news for now, hopefully we get a comprehensive update along shortly

Why would they announce so many companies getting the ability to mine there, form the ZCDC to overview it and go through all the publicity they have to then u-turn it.

CCDT chairman Newman Chiadzwa was appointed as the CBOs chief negotiator in the ongoing engagements with ZCDC to create a joint venture company that will be see community have a stake.

“I can confirm that we have been engaging with ZCDC but we have not really agreed on the actual terms of the joint venture and how it will work. We have met with the Vast Resources investors but we are still to discuss the flesh of how the joint venture will work and how much community will get of benefit. We have a meeting next week in Harare so maybe I will come back with more information on progress made so far,” said Chiadzwa in a telephone interview on Tuesday.

MDT chairman Malvern Mudiwa said although they have resolved their stalemate with ZCDC they will not let their guard down.

“We will remain vocal to ensure immediate communities benefit from their natural resources particularly when it comes to issues of employment of locals in the diamond mining companies, compensation of relocated villagers as well as environmental concerns. We understand there might be new relocations soon and we will continue to engage ZCDC for fair disturbance allowances and relocation fees for our people. We also want decent housing for villagers relocated,” said Mudiwa in an interview on Tuesday.

Hippy, my understanding was a number of shipments starting from the end of jan going on into mid march unless I remember incorrectly it has been a while since his podcast. The factthey have brought in extra drills from elsewhere to speed up the JORC process tells me that if there were drills ordered as part of the shipments from China they either haven't arrived when they were expecting or there are that many "sweet spots"they wanted to drill them all in a reasonable timeframe

Was going to say surely the announcement of preliminary grade results is price sensitive and should be RNS'd? Or is it because its not a certified grade result like a JORC
