Q, with only a week to go then the decision will have already have been made IMO , the extra week will be to allow the lawyers to go over and check all the paperwork is order . I do not really see how a deal has not been done already because if that were the case then they would have needed more than another week for the parties to agree terms and then another couple of weeks for all the paperwork and agreements finalised - so the extension would have been another month or so.

So in my mind only , it is the finer legal details that the weeks' extension will facilitate . It will be how the deal is structured that will decide the SP and of course how the market perceives and interprets the news .

This of course is only my personal opinion , so please do not make any trading decisions based on my posts on those BB's, or indeed anyone else's posts .

Riz , that is your opinion , we know that the deal is close because if not then they would have walked away weeks ago and not wasted £millions on DD etc.. I think that we will see the RNS next week at 7 in the morning and the opening price will jump a couple of pence if the news is good , if it is a major company then this is the potential bagger and deal that the long suffering holders have been waiting for and the old talked about 10p+ is on the table. No deal and we are back to 1.5p but I cannot see it. The OGA would not have given any extension without a high degree of confidence that there would be a commitment to drill ASP.

Cards on the table here - I fink we will see a deal confirmed early next week and 6-7p by next Friday .

Unlike yourself , I will not continually post my point on here several times a day and would rather wait with fingers crossed knowing, in my mind, that the odds are now in my favour .

Akr1 - I do try to keep up although at times I struggle with some posts - lets look at this logically then - the chopper took nearly 4 hours to fly from Aberdeen to the Aoka Mizu, - so

perhaps 1. got lost and flew around looking for the FPSO for a couple of hours,
perhaps 2. he stopped to refuel.
perhaps 3. the 12:22 is the time he arrived back in Abedeen as per the link that you kindly posted.

Ark - no chopper due at 1204 ( wrong info dear chap ) unless SIPP has hired his own one - A chopper arrived hours ago .

We should see this now rise until the News is confirmed next week and do not think that it will go to the bell next Friday . 5p again before next is certainly possible imo . I have Spirit Energy or Ineos (possibly both) as front runners here with a free carry on the drills and cash deal worth up to £100mill per license.

Zengah , as per my posting history , I sold end of last year and bought back in last week - I still hold a lot of Hur and await an update there , but intend to keep adding here up to £1 +

News RNS followed by a third interview on VOX will make it near impossible to get hold of any substantial amount of shares here .

salmon , what gives you or anyone else the right to tell anyone on here what to expect - your track record for SP predictions on those BBs is at best abysmal , anyone heeding your advise would be as well asking the lucky octopus .

Patience required - this will be back above £1 before news arrives . The volume is still a bit on the low side but the herd will arrive and send it back towards £1.20+ and then News …… Look at the CEOs track record ….. Look at where the BoD and Family bought in at - £7.00+ look at the IIs that continue to hold - this is a great risk v reward share which as we know moves fast .
I hope we do not see the first lot of news before we have a £1+ platform to re-rate from.

SP has been moving in line with other Oily Companies and the small fluctuations on the Oil Price . - SP does not reflect a successful Hook-up this weekend - this should go past 60p on hook-up RNS and then build towards First Oil mid February - Malcys £1 will be distant memory by the end of the Quarter .
