keef - current know reserves - interesting bcause does anyone really know the reserves , not really and the broker is only going by a very conservative cpr . so here is two truths - 1. - i believe that there is about 6-10 billion barrels of recoverable oil there . 2.- sources close to rt have stated that he ( RT ) thinks that there is up to 10 billions barrels reverable oil there . thruth
now i have no idea how the alleged TO discussions went with Equinor , but if the bossman is convinced that there is a mind boggling amount of oil in place then it is unlikely that any of the majors will come even close to his valuation before the eps .

i am sure that most are aware that the OGA launched the 31st licensing round today , applications in by Nov 07th , awarded end of q1 next year. I would be very surprised if hurricane are not putting an application together for several blocks on offer , this licensing round is for new frontier blocks in areas not previously offered - and the West coast of Scatland has hurricanes name written all over it , IMO.

And that is why the company are not talking about an LE - Frac D could be sold off pretty much after the test results have been fully evaluated , and with the Rig on its way , the testing will start this week . - frac D could be sold Q4 , or sooner if they have a buyer lined up . That would not only fully fund all drilling in the AK , but also mean that they could fund all drills in bolivia without faming out - now that is big big bucks . - but getting ahead of myself now , lets see some the test results .

Max , Tom increased his holding by the 260k shares before Friday, so if he bought a big chunk again on Friday then it would be subject to another TR1 notification when/if it takes him over the 10% . - (The notification threshold was crossed Thu , he notified the Company officially on Friday ) It helps to read the RNS properly and in full .<br /><br />Now in my experience anyone with more than 10% and is on the companies share register will be in regular contact with the board - he will have access to more people and research than your average BB punter - so a major investor increasing his holding bodes well - And no , I am not suggesting that he has any inside information , certainly no more than when the BoD all increased there holdings around those levels last week or the previous one .

so to summerise - happy for now up to firstoil (lowish risk) , then full review and decisions to be made .

Thanks Ric , some good posters across there and I have follwed the board across there for some time now .

I agree about understanding the risk, risks are present to some extent in all shares and more so O&G E&P coy's - so for me it is about understanding them and the likelyhood , and costs to the SP should they actually came to fruition .and then weighing it up against potential rewards - at the minute the numbers stack up for me , but they will not for some others .
also like most PIs will or should have done , I have written down , worked through and researched all the percieved risk no matter how small and tried to work out what they mean to me / my investment and can I live with them . As the project goes on, the overall risk reduces IMO right up till just before the expected First Oil date , and the SP will rise leading up to this date. I then see a lot of money being taken out in the few months after F-oil as the risk then is higher than now although the rewards are as well - if that makes any sense at all. lol

First Oil will be the next time that I will look at the risks again because that is when they
