I am guessing about 5 weeks max to Rotterdam , a week in rotterdam and then out to the field when weather allows .

wessex , if the sp drops tomorrow it will be nowt to do with any perceived delay the only peeps concerned are a few on here that do not understand how those things work out .
Sea trials have started imo , the lifeboats were tested , the stability test was completed , the thrusters have been fired up in dock and prob's a load more . so a reduced sea trials needed for owt they cant test in dock - deluge , thrusters in open water (if they intend sailing her to rotterdam) a couple of turns and off she goes .

WW , I suspect that CA may be one of the few that would try to support any lowball offer but very few on here really know what position they would take . Hurricane will already have a plan to bat away any bid that they deem low , and I suspect that if they do not recommend that Share Holders accept the bid , then it is unlikely that any hostile offer would succeed but you never know - everyone has their price . Personally if anyone offered me a couple of quid+ for my shares before FOil then I would grab the cash and move on .

Cap in hand to raise cash - more shares & debt to drill two holes (40 million should suffice) - The SP will not like it short term , but if they can prove up a couple of TCF next year then it may be worth it in the long run . No partner , no profit sharing if successful drills and no giving up the licences .

it may be interesting to see the SP movement going into close today , this may indicate if the players anticipate sae trials starting and indeed if they expect a couple & tick up when news is officially know . hard to tell if this is fully priced in to the sp , or if the recent rise has been POO related .

Negative - delays happen and are part and parcel of the industry as AB will or should know , Hurricane put that out in good faith with the to hand . if peeps are going to demand explanations with dates slip , the company will in future not guide at all or put in dates that allow slippage - eg. - Sail away by year end , First Oil 2019 .

SiPP , if you email the NOMAD they will confirm sea trials this month , although their reply said that it would be into October once the trials finish and the voyage begins . However just remember that the NOMAD is only taking his dates from the Company , who are taking their dates from Bluewater , who in turn are taking their dates from DDW , who are relying on the chaps and chapesses on the FPSO to tick all boxes .
I have also heard from the chaps and chapesses that the trials will start this weekend and things were on target- but I will not be worried about any short delay if we do not see movement Sunday .
Perhaps some on here should spend a bit of time contacting the Company /s that they are invested in , instead of scribing carp on the bb's . that , and grow a thicker skin , ignore posts and posters that you dislike , and stop demanding apologies for yourself , the board or others caus they wont be forthcoming - certainly not from this call sign anyway .
