For a comparison... a miner(opencast) that I am invested in are in discussions to be bought out. They are awaiting approval to extend the mine and are including the material in the ground as part of the value. From that I deduce that AA should do the same and bid accordingly for Sirius. Doesn’t seem so. I’m with you longtermview24.

What if all this is just a push to see if someone else can be brought our of the woodwork to make an offer to join in the build? Just a thought. They do all seem to be acquaintances. Maybe a mate helping out with a friendly business nudge? Strange things have happened.:-)

Wouldn’t make you smile if people started buying back in? We were chatting in the pub last evening about people purchasing a million at a time and sending the price up because shorts need their orders filling. We know it’s risky but if the offer went through at 5.5 you’ve won any way at that price with a 5.40 buy.....and who knows the offer may go up! It’s days like this I wish I was a multi millionaire. Oh no, thats every day. ;-)

Stanley, he was in London for years and on the channel tunnel too. He’s been in Mombassa and Australia as well. Basically he chased money wherever there was work. His health is dubious now. Doubtless caused by breathing in dust and fumes.

I’m still in hope but thats me all over. The other stuffs ok so I’m as safe(ish) as you can be. :-)

Morning Stanley67. Listening to my old friend last night was a revelation. In his excavation days they had tunnelled through rock, clay and even, believe this or not, underground lakes! I think that’s why he laughed and said had I never heard of pumps. He said that DMC were top class and would have surmounted the aquifer unless it was actually a lake. I didn’t know the geo and neither of us could read the iphone info cos of duff eyes. At least we’ll see what happens with aquifer as it progresses.

Don’t beat me up for this IbAb, but I’m extremely lucky money wise in that I had a final salary scheme, a private one gained fron 16 hour days and weekend working. So here were my thoughts. I wanted to be part of this and so did my kids. I wanted them to be comfortable later on in life so that there was a legacy running along the generations.
But, I think Fraser either bit off either more than he could chew or made the business decision to dump the pis and this is it. All I see is the Sheriff of Nottinghams ridden in, taken my families future and piled it in his vault with the rest......now where tf is Robin?:-) all personal and wrong I know but I did stick some in Hydrogen, gold and a banking for a mix, so all is not lost but not what I wanted. For me, so what but for the kids I’m gutted.

Morning Bucky. I thought I had used logic. I thought their holders were selling cos theydidn’t like the deal. Also I did know they were clise to insolvency and hoped they would turn to us. :-(

Ur bang on. Bean counters ran me! That’s one of the reasons I retired. Cash is king to them. Unfortunately that’s all they know. I wanted to deliver a quality job, they wanted the money in for their bonus. Didn’t sit well with me so I jumped ship.

I feel a bit better that Anglos shares have dropped since they announced they were in talks. :-) Small comfort but I’ll take it.

He pi55ed me off when he said it’s particularly good for shareholders.....he’s obviously not one!
