Back from pub. Apparently my old pal sees no more risk than any tunnel or shaft he’s worked on. He tripped me at the first hurdle. He asked what the geo was and I only knew about the aquifer. That didn’t bother him because the borer worked under fluid. He just said it would be grouted and sealed as it pushed on. Then laughed and said had I never heard of pumps. Apparently he says they used rebar, gunnite and hard graft and in his opinion it’s a shaft with high technology top class equipment and he would love to see it. In other words sa he put it” nowt drastic that that can’t be overcome. I think he’s made me feel worse.;-)

Right, off out to the pub to see my mate. I’ll post what he tells me.

Kapersky, I know you are only speculating what MAY be an option but excellent post. The longer I have thought about what’s happened over the last week the more I think I should buy the lot back and risk it. I could have the lot back for another 5 grand. If it goes for 5.5p I won’t have lost. Bed and isa the lot and wait.:-)

I’m out tonight with a guy that spent 44 years as a tunneller and shaft sinker. I’ll ask for his opinion about his perception of the shaft. He’ll know a damn site more than I do and that’s a fact.

Once the spend was brought under control, imo, the rights offer should have been first. If that failed then by all means accept AA s offer. But existing holders should come first. At the moment it seems AA get first dibs and we get no shot at it.

I do a walk a couple of times a week in that area. I’ll keep updating. I’m not one for sitting about when there are things to nosey at. :-)

Maybe in amongst all the talking to AA he has forgotten all the staff that work for Sirius that have been worked over. He really needs to hope that his staff do not hold grudges. In addition, as someone posted earlier, how does he think his family will deal with the bad feeling. What a thoughtless person he seems to be. You can take thoughtless out and substitute whatever word you like.

Walked by the new factory today and then later passed it whilst getting off the M1. Can’t tell the state of progress with fitting out as it’s no windows that I can see. Massive unit though with excellent motorway access.

Ibab, a CEO is paid to deal with pressure. That’s why they are in those positions. Imagine in your interview if you were asked can you work under pressure and you replied in the negative. No excuse.
